- Today, in an unprecedented turn of events, I walked from one city to another. Yep, that's right. It was long, it was intense, it was character building, and it also only took 20 minutes..... hehe.
Join me today as I explore some of the smaller cities in the Greater Bay Area: Zhuhai, Foshan, and Zhongshan. Spoiler alert: I see the worlds tallest Bruce Lee statute today!!!
PS! If you're looking for a VPN for China, here's a link to my FAV ONE!

Hope you all have a great day! xx
Every city in China has a road with the name of Zhong shan Rd.
Yes, named after the R.O.C founder Dr. Sun zhong-shan
im not sure others, but in my city chengdu has not.
都江堰23 路公交车起点就是中山路
西安也没有啊
陈赫 西安有中山门,中山军事学校
Love Macau. That’s where my mom was born! Stay safe in Hong Kong! Love your channel btw!
Macau is lovely!! Thanks for caring about me! But I filmed the video about Zhuhai and Hong Kong 4 months ago, so I'm all good :)
Wished more Australians actually travelled to China instead of believing the media BS.
me too :)
Yep
Great comment, why does aus hate china so much ?
Dragon 100 Aussies are divided, they are economically dependent on China while diplomatically & culturally dependent on the USA and the UK.
100% SADLY they are also the one missing out great adventures, cultures, great valued travels and even safe retirement possibilities...
Just love you blondie! You are literally shining with positive energy. Do stay safe! Will always be here!
The time and effort you put into your videos really shows. Keep up the great work!
love your upbeat attitude and fresh perspectives, keep it up!
Foshan! I need to check out that city! I'm living in Macau, and you introduced me to a few places in this region I knew very little about!
YES! Foshan was awesome! And apart from the Ip man museum and Bruce lee paradise it didn't seem touristy at all, so would be a good place to check out
@@BlondieinChina My hometown
Omg thank u sooooooo much for filming This. U have no idea how much I miss Zhuhai. Growing up by the sea was such a greattt time.
Glad you liked it! Thanks for watching :):)
Thanks Amy for another lovely and entertaining video! 👍👍👍👍💪💪💪👏👏👏I have been on this HZM bridge a few times and it was amazing! BTW I'm really impressed by your Bruce Lee impersonation though 😀
Love your videos !
Great work 👍
Love your footage of the Greater Bay! Stay safe in Hong Kong and really forward to see you can bring a lots of positivity, especially this time of the year...
That's exactly what I wanted to do :) hope I can do that!

Love your energy! Love from Australia.
You're full of enthusiasm. You make people happy. 😁😁
Bruce Lee...the man...the myth...the Legend...✊
Another awesome video. Keep it up.
hahahahah thank you!!
One of my most friendly customers recommended your videos to me on a regular basis. Well, I have to say today I finally got time to watch it through. Not bad. Love your smile. Good luck with your CZcams ventures.
Aww thank you so much!! I'm really happy my videos are spreading via word of mouth and even happier that you found the videos enjoyable. Have a great day!
Zhuhai is one of the most underrated city in the Greater Bay Area. Love the clean air and living there. The Government has plans to make it a big growth in the next 5-10 years. It’s changing fast to be a business centre.
hi friend!
You took the shuttle bus from Zhuhai to Hong Kong. I just watched a shuttle video from Amy to many. I found it beautifully short and easy to understand, concisely covered every interesting place from Point A to B and actually learned something at the end! :D
Yay!! So glad you liked it!
I was born in Macau and now I'm living here in Melbourne. Love your channel. Well done👍
Two beautiful cities, enjoy it .
Hey Amy, don't miss the great food of Foshan, welcome back soon.
Haven't been to Foshan for years, and it's great to know there is now a "Bruce Lee Paradise." Thanks for letting us fans know!!! :)
Hahahahahh glad I could let you know! Definitely worth checking out if you're a kung fu or Bruce Lee fan :)
Love Macau so much, a small but exquisite city.
No way! I've been learning Wing Chun on and off now for about 4 years. That's really cool to see that you know a bit. A least Siu Lim Tao anyway 😛
It all looks utterly amazing Amy! Especially Foshan!! Once again, another superb video!! As for the bridge that's 55km long, I've always imagined an Ultramarathon event being held on the bridge itself beginning from one end of the bridge and completing in the other end of it and the event would of course be 55km in length. That would certainly be quite the running event!! It would also have excellent scenery!
Just a couple of random questions I would like to ask. First, are you by any chance a fan of Mooncakes? Mooncake season has just finished for this year but they're an absolute pleasure to have whenever they come around each year!! Second, as an Aussie, are you a fan of footy by any chance?
PS, Bruce Lee at 5'7 was already untouchable!! Imagine him at nineteen metres tall!! He would be super superhuman!! :)
Thanks so much for your lovely comment! Thats actually such a cool idea, holding an ultra marathon on the bridge! Only thing is, a decent part of the bridge is actually underwater haha, could be less scenic. As for your questions, no, I actually am not a fan of mooncakes and I never have been. I dunno! Just have never been able to get into them. And Q2 yep as an Aussie I do follow the footy every now and then (but probably not as much as I should haha)
Amazing video, great quality edition, good music and Blondie also present us a different China. Don't understand why has low subscription. Keep up the nice job.
Thanks so much Roy!
Amazing video!Keep improving😊
thank you!!
You should do Yellow Mountain. There is not much food there but the view is absolutely stunning, breathtaking! It is regarded as the most beautiful mountain in the whole China.
That's why they say ‘五岳归来不看山,黄山归来不看岳.’
Some surrounding heritage towns are worth checking out too. They represent the near ancient culture of China.
OMG I am currently studying in Macau. Hope to see you in Macau!
Unfortunately I'm no longer in Macau, but next time I go I'll try do a meet up!
Blondie in China yeeees! next time definitely contact me hahahaha !Hope to see you again!
Haha, I did this walk many times. Great video! 加油👊
thank you!!
哇哦😯越来越棒了, 字幕也做很棒啦👍
Awesome you got to go to all those places! It is definitely much easier to get around now. I haven't tried that bridge yet cause it was built after I left. There's a Bruce Lee statue along the walk in TST in HK, very similar to the one you saw but smaller.
And Ip Man 4 is coming out, can't wait!
I HAVE A COUNTDOWN FOR IP MAN 4!! Cannot wait! Movie event of the year hahah
@@BlondieinChina Awesome! Can't wait either! :)
Yet another great video, thank you and be safe in Hongkong with the craziness
The music has a cool island, beach paradise vibe to it-fun, fun!
yeah!!! I thought it would be good for this video! Glad you liked it Emily!
love you so much. u made my day
did you visit macau or just pass through?
good video - love it!
I love how you not only introduce us to China, but share your knowledge of Chinese history about this rich yet highly misunderstood ancient civilization. Very Impressed!!!
Very enjoyable and educational!
Love this channel! It's like a China ELI5 lol
Glad you like it Peter!
Wow I didn't even know about that world's longest bridge, I learn new things everytime I watch your videos lol
Glad to hear that Daniel!
That's pretty cheap ticket price (~$8USD). I'm sure the Chinese government is subsidizing the cost before it becomes profitable. The bridge/tunnel is a marvel -- being the longest in the world. Meanwhile, the Italians have been talking about a (much shorter) bridge between Sicily and Italy for decades and it's still up in the air.
The introduction of this video really made my day
Hey, that was awesome, be safe in Hong Kong, been crazy out there, I hope I will have vacation like you doing it, I always work and study everyday in the America
The tropical trees by the streets! That's totally a new look than the streets in Beijing. Ahhhh I want to visit Zhuhai
Zhuhai roads also have lots of caana lilies which have spectacular displays when in flower.
Welcome to Foshan,Amy!My hometown is Shunde, and hope one day you can come and try delicious food in Shunde.Lots to explore!
Omg 66k subscribers!
I wish you will go to 70k

Your travel videos in China are awesome, you need to go back :D
I was in Hong Kong for half a year but didn't have the courage to travel to any of those places. Zhongshan would be interesting to me.
I love that place gong Bei downstairs there, you literally can get a fake anything there for sooooo cheap!
Blondie in china- hope you will bring peace and mutual understanding to both countries. you have that power.
so great!
So awesome 👏🏻
your videos are crazy well done! Are you using a drone for the beach and bridge views? Or are you getting the footage from somewhere else?
thank you!! yep, those are taken with my drone :) I don't travel anywhere without it haha
Love ur videos sooooo much
Thank you!!
I'm planning to visit China in 2020 and this bit of info is very helpful. 🤗 Can you take the same transit bus from Hong Kong to Macau or do I have to take it to Zhuhai then go through the checkpoint to get to Macau? That would be a fun day trip for me.
Try to avoid HongKong. Not sure how the situation will go.
hi ,I am from Foshan and live in hk . I am happy you know Foshan is town of kong fu.Mainly Cannton cultures are came from Goundzhou and Fushan

Macau is the best, I love the old town away from the casinos, quite and beautful.
yeah! I loved that area too. Had some great food there haha
amy的声音一听到就觉得很开心,阳光的人说起话来真的充满激情
So much enjoy your beautiful time with China so lucky you Amy 💋💋❤️❤️
Besides Fosha, is there another interesting city or town?? I’ll be coming all the way up from Enping. Thanks!
Ahh I was macau the past weekend, great city.
beautiful city
Haven't been back to my hometown Zhuhai in almost 4 years since I came to Australia.....
I love your videos blondie.I hope you can visit jiangmen city where I was borned someday.
thanks Leon!! I hope I can visit one day!
Zhuhai is my hometown! You should spend more time in exploring Zhuhai!
Zhuhai was great! Loved that city :)
oh wow! hey girl, that's my hometown, be sure go to fish girl statue and hebao island and go to one of the hot spring resort
Thanks for the tips!! Next time I go to Zhuhai I'll go check out those things! Hot springs resort sounds wonderful
Oh dear. What a time to be visiting HK...
Back in June I traveled to Hong Kong and returned to the mainland through HZM bridge and Gongbei port. It's a great route for exploring the bay area because you can experience the different histories and cultures in these cities :)
PS: If you ever plan on travelling in the same way, don't forget to install Google Maps for Hong Kong! IIRC the popular navigation apps in mainland do not work over there :P
Thanks for sharing!!
Gotta love my hometown Zhuhai
There's actually this island called Lingding Island that is administered by Zhuhai but physically nearer to Hong Kong - and that island used to be an island of vice where folks from Hong Kong would ride a fast boat and get into the island (illegally of course) for some hanky-panky "fun", but now that island has been transformed and it's a nice resort destination with good seafood!
wow! I've never heard of that! Sounds super interesting, would like to learn more about it! Thanks for sharing :)
You can read a little more about this island here: www.scmp.com/lifestyle/travel-leisure/article/2160500/chinese-island-so-close-hong-kong-yet-very-different
Yay!!!! Enjoy every moment!!!!
Love this damn channel
Thank you SO much!!!!
love zhuhai,my hometown. welcome to zhuhai.
Fun fact: While traffic in Macau and Hong Kong drives on the left side of the road, busses crossing the HZMB must switch to the right side of the road per mainland rules
I heard about that and I was looking out for it, but I didn't see the road switch happen! Maybe that only happens when you depart from Macau, not Zhuhai? What do you think?
@@BlondieinChina I took it Hong Kong-Macau and back this summer; you only really notice it when you leave Hong Kong and get on the bridge. But if you take the cable car near the airport, you can see traffic on the bridge is driving opposite to the streets below.
is there alot of traffic on the bridge? cuz i read somewhere that bridge is being under used
You can walk from GuangZhou to Foshan also ~

I want to learn kung fu from that young grandmaster! 😂😂😂
You skipped Jiangmen?? :O I'm so offended. LOL!!! XD.
Your awesome!
aww thank you!
