Wuhan is a wonderful city

  • I made this video back in November 2019 when I visited Wuhan for the first time. I’ve been thinking for a while now about when would I should post it. Actually, I can’t think of a better time than right now. There’s a lot of misinformation going around about what kind of city Wuhan is, with a lot of people who have never even visited the city judging it negatively. Hopefully this video can show people what a wonderful city Wuhan is.
The next few months might be hard for a lot of people around the world, but let’s stay compassionate, stay strong, and respect and love each other. 我们一起加油 ! Hope you’re healthy and happy wherever you may be watching in the world.
Please share this video with your family and friends - let's spread some love and positivity together!
    Peace and love xxx Blondie

@F*CK tRump Shows you're not exactly very educated are you. Scientists think this virus originated in bats and may have hopped into an intermediary host animal before infecting people. There's Swine flu which originated in the US so don't eat pork then. Mad cow disease happened in the UK so stop eating Beef too.

I've been to Wuhan 3 times and I agree it's a beautiful city. I'm so happy you decided to upload this. With so much attention on Wuhan, showing how great this city is will reach a wider audience, which is more important now than ever with it being put on the map in most people's mind for something far less positive.

I disagree... wuhan must be one of the worst 2nd tier city in China... combination of hot weather and pollution it was terrible and don’t really like it. I spent a lot of time last year in wuhan in Apr-Aug right before military games and the whole damn city is under construction esp near dongfenggongsi, road and traffic is terrible (understandably that’s where the main stadium is but still...)
Taxi there is horrendous compare to Shenzhen. SZ has the best taxi btw because they have new byd cars vs wuhan old dongfeng. Their taxi fleet is one of the dirtiest in China i think and I’ve been to many tier 1 and 2 cities as well. I always do didi black car in wuhan despite a tad bit more expensive.
Everything is so far apart from each other. The airport is so far, wuhan zhan and hankou zhan is so far from each other also. Metro to the airport must be one of the longest metro ride to airport in China. Based on gaodemap seems like the high speed rail run to the airport but i can’t find ticket last time i was there.
I understand that it’s 3 cities combined into 1 and called dawuhan, but definitely disliked the urban planning compared to other cities in China.
The best memory was cherry blossom and wuhandaxue campus. Chuhehanjie is also decent place to hang out but so damn far from hanyang and jianghan qu where i was staying. Huang he lou is underwhelming though despite seeing it from my hotel room every day across the river.
I was also there again in dec up to the 29th, 2 days before virus news broke to the world and was in hankou station next to the market on christmas day. Luckily i was fine. I escaped ground zero just in time and now have high risk of getting infected back in US. smh.
The road is a little bit better and seemingly less construction in dec but pollution is still bad. I am a road runner and run wherever i go. There are only 2 places where I couldn’t run in China. Wuhan and Beijing lol

@Bang Bang As the world's most populous country, China has (statistically speaking) the most *brainpower* to come up with plans and ideas, as well as the most *manpower* to implement said plans and turn ideas into reality. Larger populations have more geniuses, and since China's population is 4x that of USA, there should be at least 4 Chinese geniuses to every 1 American genius.
Source: _China's Statistical Advantage: Large populations have more geniuses_ iiipublishing.com/blog/2018/06/blog_06_07_2018.html
_Consider two standard bell curves, say one with 1.4 billion people and one with 326 million. The number of average people in China is very close to 4.3 times the number of average people in the U.S. That is also true for those in the top 2% say, which produces scientists, the best business and government people, and the most competent computer programmers. Even there, China would have a 4.3 to 1 advantage, which would be quite an advantage, everything else being equal._

I think the Virus did not originate in Wuhan. As you know in October 2019, there was a military Olympics held in Wuhan, with 10,000 military athletes from 110 countries, including Americans. Then in December 2019, Chinese gov't locks down the entire country. Back in July 2019, Fort Detrick Bioweapons lab in Maryland was shutdown by the CDC for unsafe handling of Pathogens. Same month, two clusters of Respiratory illnesses were found in Northern Virginia, with hospitalizations and death. And just Several months after the announcement of the virus infection in USA, the US has more infections than any other country. That is not a coincidence.

the Virus did not originate in Wuhan. in October 2019, there was a military Olympics held in Wuhan, with 10,000 military athletes from 110 countries, including Americans.
