Completely agree with you! The only item i ever had on my bucket list was to see Bette live before she or I passed whichever should come first. I crossed it off like 8 yrs ago and it was everything I hoped it would be. Bette performs her heart out and is at all times both bawdy and a class act.
Listen to Don’t cry daddy, by Lisa Marie Presley, she remade the song and included Elvis!!!

She does sound like she was having vocal trouble in this era, and perhaps like she can’t hear herself clearly at times, because she’s pitchy in places.
There’s also a chorus effect on her vocal mix that makes her voice sound like it wavers unnecessarily at times.
I know she can do better,
