My guy and I are both terrified of getting remarried (he was married for 25 years and I was married almost 7), but if we did I would definitely just do what the two of us truly wanted instead of trying to make others happy!!! I'm so glad you said that.
My dad's second wedding was a surprise. He told everyone it was a surprise birthday party, but when they got there it was actually a wedding. Ha! And he played all Willie Nelson music. His third was more traditional, and they just celebrated their 25th anniversary.
My first marriage, We eloped. My 2nd marriage will be all out but also simple. This will be my fiance first wedding . The suggestions in the beginning are good ones to keep in mind . Thanks .

I feel like the first one if for everyone else...and the second one is for the two of you sadly. I got married very young at 27...and now almost 40 I have a very different idea of what a wedding should and COULD be. :)
I think you make a very good point. When we work with first weddings many of our couples stress about making everyone else happy. When we do a second wedding it seems to be more about the couple. Thank you for your comment!

The second time around deserves the same celebration and love...and thank goodness no one is obligated to invite their former spouses to the event...it could be awkward, but I'm sure there's exceptions to the rule. (*grins*)
geez.....my ex was angry after our divorce.....he dated one woman but it did not last.
It took decades for us to be on good terms. If he were to get married again I swear to God I would pay for the wedding just to see him happy

Fortunately I don't have any second weddings
So it's a second marriage, not wedding.
