One of the 6-7 best games in NFL history. Largely forgotten to history.
Funny fact is Podolak is the color commentator for Iowa football and his play-by-play partner is Gary DOLPHIN!
Synchronicity.
@@roquey44 And his wife's Maiden name is Copeland.
Just kiddin. I don't know if he is even currently married.
One of my favorite player growing up. Smart and tuff player.
A lot of Christmas dinners went cold that day. The wives couldn't pry their husband away from the TV set.
Steady Eddy Podolack!
When great running backs are a conversation it's amazing that I have to bring up Ed Pollac yes I am old but football back in those days was more like football soccer you didn't have six plays per quarter a lot of big people sitting around with towels on their heads it was a track meet not a commercial Mart
i remember that game.
And the clips from this folks again proves a copy of the live game is out there - How much of it we don't know, but like the Immaculate Reception and Sea of Hands games, I would pay a pretty decent amount of money to see these games in their entirety.
This game is on CZcams bro

Darren Sproles had 328 all purpose yards including a game winning TD run against Indy in 2008
Ed Podolak had 350 yards.
Ed beat that.
Great all purpose player
The longest game ever now was also with Miami againsttitans first game of the 2018 season and I was there -_-
It's still the longest in terms of actual game time.
Ed Podolak is from my home town
Coop Gaming me too
My dad came from Atlantic Iowa too. He said he knew the Podolaks.
Ed Podolak! The Dolphins still haven't figured out how to stop Podolak.
Dolphins didn't have to stop him, they won the game.
One of the best Hawkeye ever
do more video
The Taysom Hill of 1971..... except he didn’t block any punts.
KC was the better team and would've given the cowboys a game in the super bowl. Mia got crushed by Dallas.
taj Well, you have to get there to win my man. That said, I don't remember much about the game (I was 17 & a senior in HS) except for Ed Podalak who prbly had the best all around offensive game I've ever seen . Ed was a good player who played a amazing that afternoon. Best game ever???
@Dennis Schreiber yeah , and the following year they went 12-2 and bagged another one , there would have been more had it not been for the USFL,
Dallas probably doesn’t win there first Super Bowl in 1971 either. If the Chiefs won that divisional round they would probably have 4 Super Bowls now.
First boi
I remember Podalak knocking the dogs,,t out of Czonka in that game....i belioeve?
