Goodmorning all. On ATACMS I am not sure about the numbers, but I have heard that the US is sending 1000 ATACMS. This seems like quite a few after only sending 21 all last year. However, I know that 900 of them will have motors that are due to expire so we would either send them or pay to dismantle them. This would still leave the US with 3000 in reserve in case they are needed elsewhere. Looks like quite a few Abrams, Bardleys, and M109 Paladin are coming as well.

In the end I had to give up and just use my Ukrainian bank account🙁 we try not to use the Ukrainian bank account because it’s a nightmare to send funds to Ukraine, so paying things like property tax is a nightmare. How was your day?

This article describes some factors that allow russia to expand it's production so much. For example, in the 1990s when the west was cutting defence spending, russia fought a couple of wars in Chechnia, requiring hundreds of thousands of shells. They kept expanding their production and started expanding it more just before the start of the Ukrainian war.
