Ukraine has fought for over 2 years with one hand tied behind their back and blind in one eye.
Hitting russia inside russia, as well as getting modern aircraft and modern equipment are long overdue.
Ukraine is fighting our enemy as we speak, so why are we not giving them the very best equipment we have for Ukraine to do the job properly.

  • @chiperffic
    @chiperffic Před 16 dny +32

They have to make sure Ukraine has a green light to hit Russia. Letting them sit on the border and build up with troops, tanks and air power severely undermines the defense. Imagine taking a soccer field and cutting it in half that you can’t cross, so you can never score. They have to be allowed to do this.

    • @I-have-a-brain_and-use-it

This is really js an excuse by the Ukrainian command to cover up their own inadequacies and blame shift to some one else .
Ukraine has 22 different medium & short range UAVs that they could have been peppering the russian build up with for the past year if they wanted to .
There is a weird mentality in the Ukrainian command that all russian vehicles dissolve in water so putting your defensive positions on the other side of a water course will make you invincible
We have seen this so many times in the past and every time it as failed .

It’s a pity Blinken’s concession didn’t come a couple of weeks ago. The US is not alone in seeming to be constantly behind the curve. But the AFU has questions to answer. In relation to a long-anticipated attack on the Kharkiv axis, they appear to have dropped the ball. It is to be hoped that the senior command changes there have not come too late.

@@cloraformsgood5340 They aren't under their control and they are surplus to requirements by the contractor.
Davidov is summed up: Тілько двох є на світі, дурний і хитрий - дурний робіт а хитрий іст.
Spokesman of State Border Service Andriy Demchenko, said
"Ці напрямки максимально укріплюються у максимальній близькості до кордону. На різній відстані від кордону (залежно від ситуації, рельєфу та особливостей місцевості) створюються інженерно-фортифікаційні споруди, вогневі позиції, спостережні пости, окопні лінії", - пояснив Демченко.
You may not know, but many contractors have been maimed or worse building fortifications 10kms back. It is certain to be a problem at 1 km. The ruscists sit back in muscovy and fire knowing Ukraine can do nothing. No anti-air, no counter battery. Little or no ammunition.
Zelenskyy went and visited the fortifications:
Очільник Харківської обласної військової адміністрації Олег Синєгубов розповів, що оборонні споруди складаються з розгалуженої системи траншей, бліндажів та інших видів укриттів. За його словами, у регіоні облаштовують загороджувальні рубежі: бетонні піраміди, "зуби дракона" та протитанкові рови.
However, Yaroslavskyi commander of the intelligence unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said:
Командир підрозділу розвідки ЗСУ зауважив, що на цій ділянці фронту не було першої лінії фортифікацій та мін.
«Ворог вільно увійшов у сіру зону, по всій лінії кордону, яка в принципі не повинна була бути сірою. За 2 роки на українському кордоні повинні були стояти бетонні укріплення в мінус 3 поверхи! А не було навіть мін. Ми приходимо до думки, що це або шалене злодійство, або навмисний саботаж», - заявив військовий.
Davidov hunts for clicks and money. His validity is zero.

PAC-2 range is 160km and the PAC-3 have a range of 30/60km depending on the Variant, but are for Ballistic missile mainly I believe! The biggest difference between the two different missiles is the PAC-2 was a exploding munition when close enough to it's target, and the PAC-3 is a Precision Hit through the Target using Velocity to destroy the Target.

Hi Jonathan, thank you for this update. I hope Ukraine will put it to good use and hit key positions where troops are being assembled.
If I am not mistaken, the US is famous for leaving behind tons of armor/vehicles after a war, because it is not worth the cost shipping them back. Maybe the US could do a full scale training operation with Ukrainian troops in Rumania and Poland with tons and tons of material and leave them for Ukraine, being too expensive to take back home.
The US might sell a few Bradley’s, Abraham’s and F16’s here and there, but most of them will never leave storage, until they will be scrapped or dumped into a huge hole in the dessert.
It is a lot cheaper to buy the ammo and that ammo can be send to their destination much faster than the few dozen of armored vehiclesi being send in a batch as is currently done.
I understand there are rules about selling weapons and it might be impossible to give them away (per a penny) by law, but maybe one could be creative. Probably my naive, wishful thinking though.
    Cheers, Rick

05:49 on the subject i think it would be wise to start handing out contracts to refurbish or make all dustballed hardware thats currently in the dessert operational/to keep them back to send a ultimatum and make them ready in case Rustardia moves beyond Ukraine,As the German defeat tought us in WW2 its not quality but quantity that wins wars/.Bye not delivering huge quantities of aid as in the hunderds of tanks in stead of mayby 100 of all contributers at start of war...we have allowed the conflict to drag on.With the Rustards now in war economy mode who says they wont attack another country after Ukraine is swallowed?Like moldova or smaller nato Countries bordering them? The cost is lower to them when there already in war economy then to wait a few years and swap everything back in war economy...And once contractors start making arms it will be hard to make them stop a certain momentum is build up in the government apparatus and we all know there is nothing more deadly then oversized goverment and over regulation.THE COST OF OUR INACTION AT START OF THE WAR WILL BITE US IN THE ASS.
