Folks, there's plenty of room for fans of the EU, fans of the new canon, and fans of their own head canon. There's really no need to be insulting. We're not arguing points of fact, here. We're arguing about subjective tastes about a made up story about space wizards with laser swords. Be decent to each other.

there's no way vader kept it on him after obi wan died, he kept obi wans death a secret from palpetine so carrying around his lightsaber would have been a dead (heh) giveaway
On the other hand, the Emperor could not have been unaware that Vader killed Ben Kenobi on the Death Star.
Perhaps one of the stormtroopers blended the lightsaber into a blue milkshake (at Vader's behest, of course) and slurped it up his bum.
So, pointless as this will be, I have a group of friends who have been playing Star Wars role-playing since basically just after Return of the Jedi went through theaters, back in 1983, and though they have made several characters each, they are STILL playing that verse today, well before EU, Disney, or anyone else had much chance to flesh out the galaxy far far away, and of course, in that game, one of those player's characters acquired Kenobis's lightsaber, and she still uses it now, so many years later in both that game, and that verse.😊
So is it still stuck in 80s Star Wars with nothing from EU at all?
@@Hello-bi1pm They borrowed some bits of what they liked, if they could make them fit; mostly to somewhat explain what the film characters were doing, as the players play totally original characters, and thus the actions of those characters ha e had their own major impact on a very different verse than any of the rest of us have ever seen.
There was nothing scarier than Robert Stack telling you about scary stuff that nobody solved.
Orlock was a space version of the wizard from the Wizard of Oz. only problem with the story is I don’t think Vader‘s suit had any pockets. He was never seen carrying 2 Sabers. Plus when did he have time to go from the death star to his star destroyer while tracking the millennium falcon.?
It could have been clipped to the back of his belt. It's not like you can see back there with his cloak in the way.
About Vjun castle, if I’m not mistaken, we do see the interior in the game Jedi Academy when we and Kyle Katarn go there to find Rosh in the first half of the game. Then the boss fight takes place in former Vader’s room. But of course, this game takes place after ep. 6 so it’s no more Vader’s castle. Still a pretty good game in terms of legend lore !

I have Disney advocates SCREAM at me for straying in to EU stories and staying to them. They have even insulted and ranted at me for bringing up EU material.
Its stuff like this that makes me realize that EU material is still so much better than Disney Plus bullshit.

Why would Vader be scared and confused with obi wan disappearing when anakin Skywalker killed loads of jedi and Vader hunted and killed loads of jedi
Surely some of these jedi he killed would of seen them become one with the force as anakin and Vader
Therefore Vader should have known exactly what was going on
Would really like to see vidoes distinclty being canon or legends as its important to know whether or not they will have continuity with future and current projects if they are canon. Coming here to fill in holes and make predictions is discouraging and a waste of time when you see multiple points coming from legends and no longer being sure how much of any video is relevant to the continuity.

Other than the deaths of Chewie, Anakin and Mara Jade the EU did such a great job post-Endor, not perfect but I loved all the connections to the OT characters like Kenobi. I shame his lightsaber never called to another Jedi even a descendant of his (which he never had) or of his brother that he remembered as a child. That would've been an awesome story.

I really don't understand why they (Disney) totally disregarded all of the Skywalker and Solo offspring in their sequel trilogy...they could even have made it into a Highlander type situation, which is almost what happened in the EU, would have worked much better than bringing Rey and Palpatine into the mix
