Regarding the garter, you usually get the garter from the bride's thigh, then the single men gather up and the groom throws it behind him like the flower the bride throws. I went to a wedding where they threw the garter. We, the men, were all told that it was the equivalent of the throwing of the flowers; IE that who ever caught the garter would be the next to marry.
We gathered together in a clump and the garter was thrown by the groom with his back to us. That garter bounced off a head and a torso before landing on the ground. I and the other nearest guy bent down to get it and the other guy batted it towards me. So, I picked it up.
Jokes on him, though: he's been married nearly two decades now and I don't have a ring on my finger. (Though, I have been living with the same woman for 12 years, so legally I'm common-law.)

I was going through the parking lot in front of my dorm, and as I was walking past these cars something suddenly didn't look right about one so I stopped to see what it was. Someone had absolutely wrecked the side of that thing with a freaking pickaxe. Or at least I'm guessing it was a pickaxe, because it had a bunch of perfectly square holes about an inch across punched in it in addition to a bunch of deep cuts in the paint. The owner of the car was not happy when she found it. I know this because while I was gawking at the devastation in front of me I was snapped out of it by a woman yelling at me about why I was at her car. She looked like she'd been hit by the car when she saw the damage, even after I warned her something bad had happened.

In modern tradition, throwing the garter and throwing the bouquet are the same. The bride/groom throws it at their friends, and whoever catches it is the next to be wed. In the men's case, they usually avoid catching it. In my first wedding, I shot it like a rubber band at my friend George while my other friends grabbed George so he couldn't run away. :)

In college I was in culinary school. I always got to go checkout what the freshmen and sophomores were making in class that day and I got free food. Also, not many kids in the culinary program so there were always empty seats. The last day of class my senior year we got into the alcohol chilling in the classroom drinking and eating food watching creepy pastas on the projector with the lights off and the blinds shut.

If both are working outside the home to pay for things that would be fine but if she is just staying at home and not working then her job should be to manage the home. Nope, simply experienced with creepy crawly biting stinging critters inside clothing. The spider wouldn’t have ventured into the bra to eat boob and likely would leave eventually, but most critters when threatened bite or sting so you’d need to one shot the spider first or you’d definitely draw a bite.

I crunched some numbers and gathered some data to see which one, men or women, contributes more to a relationship. In almost all cases, men invest more resources (money, energy, attention, and time) in a relationship than women do. I tried to use the data for my Master's thesis, but my advisor didn't let me because it would be too controversial. Apparently, we live in a society where empirical evidence must be covered up whenever it hurts some people's feelings.
But then again statiscky wise (uk and USA) more men tend to sexually and physically assault women in a relationship, it makes you think doesn’t it? On one hand men invert more time into a relationship, on the other about 97 %of domestic abuse crimes are committed by men. (I don’t wanna start an argument,I just found this comment interesting)

In a nutshell, people need to take it into consideration that the number of female victims may be exaggerated while the number of male victims may be understated. (I don’t wanna start an argument,I just found this comment interesting). :)
