If you want to find adorable cats that like being pet, being a postman is a good start tbh. You get to go around a lot of different houses and areas so the chances of bumping into a cat is reasonably high. And most I come across are pretty friendly.
Also kinda depends on where you work as a postman. If you are out delivering stuff in suburbia where everyone has a mailbox at the curb and you never leave the car except to drop boxes on steps, its much harder to encounter animals than if you are in an older community (maybe not as rural due to new things getting made nearby and town upgrades) with mailboxes near their front doors instead of by the curb.
Until you got to a house with a guard dog.

I deliver packages, instead of mail, so mailboxes are never a problem for me (in fact, it is actually against the law for me to leave packages in mailboxes. I have to take my crap to the front door). So I encounter a lot of both dogs and cats. Surprisingly, cats I encounter are much more shy, and wanting to avoid me, whereas most doggos will come right at me, without any hesitation. Dogs love to bark at strangers, but most of them don't want to hurt you. They really just want to show off how much of a "tough guy" they are, to their owners. I've noticed that barking dogs also wag their tails, which is a dead giveaway that they really mean you no harm.

i found that after about 2 ~ 3 years old doggo's really come into there own and enjoy being around you. just takes time they're still developing
my doggo turned out to be an amazing dude, but for the entire six months of the second half of his first year of life, I spent 3-6hours training him, every day. it was a lot of work, but worth it. I was lucky that I had all that time to invest. don't know about other doggos, only had the one.
that depends on the dog. I have one that loves to cuddle, one that loves to sit in my lap and one who just wants to lick my beard.
my dog always wanted my attention. they just have no idea how to train a dog. i bet they pay someione else to train it

I got a kitty from the streets, he's all vaccinated now and he's the cuddliest baby I've ever seen, he climbs up over my shoulders all the time just to cuddle so I basically have to lock myself in my room while the cat roams around the house.
I've gotten used to it in the last few months, but I never knew cats were so affectionate.

One of my favorite manga out there. Full of wholesomeness and a few cool fights as well. The mother was known as one of the more powerful demons in the world and considered a force of destruction for both demons and humans alike. This was until she became pregnant (no spoilers as to whats up with that), was taken in by a human (who would become her best friend), and gave birth to the cute little fuzzball you see before you.
She doesn't know why she's crying, but despite being as powerful as she is, she has had a hard life and rarely felt any love or comfort from others (she does have a sister that she loves very much and she had to get pregnant from someone somehow, but besides that it was fight after fight until she was taken in).
Highly recommend: "Musuko ga Kawaikute Shikataganai Mazoku no Hahaoya"

I agree, it is a godsend to the feels. All the characters are lovable in their own way, except for a select few. But they're few, and you're not supposed to like them. However I must say that the character I like the most is Lizette, because everyone needs a comic relief character.

About the whole never finding kittens thing... One time many years ago my family heard a meowing during a storm coming from our garden, we thought it was the cat we already owned at the time. After checking it out, we find a drenched kitten. He went on to be one of the best cats I ever owned. Showed up one night in a lightning storm like a flash. So that was his name. Flash. I sorely miss that cat.
My cat once brought an all white one eyed stray home with him to share his food. The second time he did it, I took the stray to the vet and adopted him!

My family's gotten around 3 stray cats from the outside now, all were pretty damn loveable. Though the first was before I was born and died while I was before I was a toddler and the second one did a few months after we got them due to a medical issue at the vet thanks to a birth defect and leukemia. Remember people, whenever you want to play rescue with animals, get them checked. Cat Leukemia for example is highly contagious to other cats(not people obviously) they get it from grooming each other, also a good reason to not let your cat be an outdoor one.
Our third and most recent came up to my father while he was grilling about a month or two ago. Extremely loving and personable. Had a major injury on her back leg though that we were told rather recently that if we had waited a couple more days than we did to bring her in or didn't feed her daily she would of been dead. Since we were feeding her for about a month outside before bringing her in, it's rather good that we decided to do so when we did so. Still healing, but she's got scar tissue now so it's unfortunately slower than it would be normally.
Could say it's luck, but animals in general have a fondness for my father and I, including animals people say to stay away from due to aggression. So I'm not sure if that's the cats or our dispositions. This one definitely seems to be rather sweet to others though so there's that.
Yup there's stray cats all in my neighborhood, adopted 3 and plenty more everywhere.

Artists cheat A LOT to make scenes look good without spending on a $500-$2000 annual license on wholly unecessary programs and breaking the anime's budget in the process.
This is also why one time purchase programs are having a resurgence in popularity as well, with the adobe creative suite and other animation programs becoming prohibitively expensive to maintain, programs like clipstudio paint have become explosively popular.
Or it's because when people are relaxed the eyes are less open and when they form a happy face the eyelids get push by muscle movement and the japanese have small eyes with convenience being completely coincidental.
I've seen plenty of fading in/out eye effects for minor irrelevant scenes and they're intended to be uncanny for comedic effect.
@@Soshoyo that's one way to look at it, but my professors and classmates (some of whom were already part of the industry by that time) pretty much said what i cited, this was especially common during the days of nightmarish rotoscoping (which studio ghibli still uses to this day god help their artists) and even today with the common use of melding 2d art with 3d animations.
most fade in/out eye scenes or other animation embellishments are often meant for money shots, where the majority of the anime's budget is pooled into.
also im asian and have small eyes, and i rarely actually squint or blink from happiness, unless im trying to contain tears.
@@chloekaftan Industry professionals and experts could come up with any explanation for why they do what they do and of course the high FPS hyper detailed scenes are money shots but the eye closing when happy trope has existed since the black and white ages.
I'm also asian, I have fairly large eyes but forming an expression even slightly off my neutral face my eyes partially close, If i form a full smile with my eyes relaxed(not trying to keep it open) they completely close.
Edit: I just tried and when i try to smile without closing my eyes my entire face starts to twitch, Closing my eyes then opening them once i've formed the smile i'm able to negate the twitching.

Its mostly cute and wholesome... however there are also small instances of war/battle and adversity (The little girl is a demon who was adopted by a hero/adventurer since her parents were killed. Many people are essentially racist against demonkind because the demons enacted many atrocities against the allied races and are currently at war with them. That little cute ball of sunshine is as innocent as they come, but she has had a difficult life up to this point).

I wish I could get more compliments, that's why I try to make myself look nice whenever I leave the house. Even if it's just to get groceries.
When people tell me something like "Oh nice beard" or "Nice shirt" that makes my whole week.
For real, I don't even know the last time I got an unprompted compliment from someone. I still hang on to a compliment one of my friends gave me like 2 years ago, saying that my hair looks really good. I legit do that to every cat I find outside. You gotta find their rhythm and approach them slowly but then you're good to pet them all you want. ( Mostly cause they're pretty much all domesticated or were domesticated at some point so if they deem you safe you can pet them )

Eh, I'm fine with it on account of it being fictional fantasy anime. It helps that for all it initially comes across as Dale being a father for someone for a volume or 2, the LNs have her age up rather quickly with him more just being a semiguardian than anything. At the very least this relationship is more wholesome than Mushoku tensei so called romances, given Latina has to be legal first for Dale to take her anywhere seriously.
It genuinely starts out wholesome, but then it just turns. I started the series not knowing that, and the moment I was spoiled about that future development I dropped it. Really disappointing.
