I'm an Android & Windows guy, but damn the Apple TV 4K is so far ahead of other media players out there when it comes to just how polished everything is. It's the only Apple product I'll ever need.
Oh really try a nvidia shield totally open to sideloading lots of apps not available to apple users .And how about AI upscaling beats apple tv hands down.
@@paullkaplan4140 how can you upscale a true high Bitrate/HDR/Dolby Vision as in 131 Mbps film. You can't upscale it. I mean yes on my Sony Tv has real-time upscaling for 720-1080p To 4K... & yes even many years ago with people using the nvidia shield & their servers couldn't play raw files I sent to them....& using (Infuse )apple app is the best media player on the market
Being able to do FaceTime and Zoom calls on Apple TV with your iPhone as a continuity camera is also a pretty neat feature! (I use one of my MagSafe chargers to hold the iPhone in position in front of the TV.)
My TCL QM8 TV has slowed down too much. When I first got the TV I used the built in OS, now it's unusable. I force stop background apps and restart the TV. Still doesn't help. I'm back to my Apple TV 4K

The best thing I love about Apple Tv is love is the bluetooth transmitter. Because I like connecting bluetooth speakers to it. I like HomePods but prefer bigger bluetooth speakers that have mic 🎤 input. Because for example you can stream either karaoke youtube videos or apple music songs that you can remove the lyrics to your speaker and connected to any tv or monitor, and now you have the perfect karaoke machine. Ive taken my apple tv to parties connected to the big bluetooth speaker and portable monitor. And was a hit all night long as a karaoke party. Friends and relatives call refer the apple tv the apple karaoke box. Some of them Even decided to buy one just because of that. And another feature I like is after you pair a bt speaker to it, you just turn on your speaker and plays music off of the apple tv without it turning on the tv or apple tv box itself. As a source for music streamer. Use your controller to tell siri what song or playlist you want…. Etc
Have you made a review of the Google chrome cast
I use Apple TV home sharing for most of my movies I buy a lot of physical media and use the digital code but the issue is the home sharing does not recognize the digital code movies even though I have downloaded them from Apple and onto my external hard drive. Does home sharing only recognize mkv files ? Seems the digital movies are a different format. If Anyone knows the limits of the home sharing ? I like the interface on the home sharing better.

the recent apps thing is great because if you have an app thats just giving you issues, you can also swipe up to force close it.

He probably didn’t go into much details because (and he also didn’t mention) not all apps supports it on the AppleTV.
Again, PiP is great on the Apple TV, as long as the App supports it.
He did tell us how to do the PiP. The second screen will be cast from your iPhone or whatever.
Some of the features are cool that you’re speaking of, but you’re not taking the time to actually show people how to go in and use these features

That intro is exactly right. People pay $200 for this gadget then use it such that they should have bought a $20 streaming stick.
It always blows my mind
It’s not all about the “features” versus a 20 dollar stick. It’s power alone worth the price. Ie it plays higher bitrate video without hick ups. It loads video from say Plex instantly. This is especially noticeable on high bitrate 4 HDR ect. Just my opinion.
There aren’t adds on Apple TV. #1 reason for me to use it much cleaner and perfect for minimalists.

Went from an s22 ultra to s24 ultra. Feel so much better. Especially for us in europe
I have a TCL Roku TV and a Samsung TV..both are horrible devices. Does the apple TV require you to make an account? Does it shove ads up your wahoo on the home screen? Watching TV sucks anymore. Even after you buy the TV they still shove ads in your face. Does the apple TV remote have proprietary buttons for streaming services I WILL NEVER use on it? Thanks for the vid!! I miss the old days of tv... go buy a TV, bring it home... unbox it... watch TV..not unbox it, make an account, agree to asinine terms and service blah blah blah... dam the multi-media world is going to s**t..lol
