Could also be same personnel, but with Kounde at CB, Fort RB and Alonso LB, although I would hesitate to change Kounde's position before the PSG game
I'd say it's a pretty good chance to feature the young CB Faye and Rest Cu ... middle could be Romeu, Roberto and Fermin, and give Ferran and Vitor a chance in the starting lineup, maybe Felix too
With that mid field Cadiz will dominate us

I completely agree with that lineup. Vitor needs game time, the entire defense needs a rest after that PSG performance. I think this is a perfect game to introduce Fey and all in all it’s the perfect lineup to give players the game time they need and the rest others deserve.

Did you say Yamal had a tricky night in Paris? He played the pass that led to our first goal. If the keeper hadn't come out to parry that ball, that would have been an assist for lewandowski.
He did have a tricky night, regardless of his involvement in that goal.. He lost a few balls and decision making was poor

Great line up Jamie. Same thoughts for me. Only change I would really bring Faye in for Kounde. Play Fort at RB Christensen and Faye at CB and Alonso at LB. Just hope Romeu can give us a solid performance and not turn over the ball in midfield. Even Mamadou Fall I believe was training with the first team so if Romeu doesn’t step up we push Christensen up into the CDM role and bring him on. I really want the players rested as PSG is going to be adding more pace with Hakimi returning in the second leg and Nuno Mendez pace and assuming Barcola may start also. Also with Hakimi coming back that makes them a bit strong at CB with Marquinhos moving centrally. Let’s ring the changes and give these players some minutes to show what they can do.
Pedri and De Jong need to play against Cadiz. They need game time.

As subs. They shouldn’t start the match. Pedri especially. He was playing at 60%, hardly running vs PSG. de Jong looked slow as well. As subs will be way more effective.
They shouldn't play full 90 min vs Cadiz . Also Barça should try to rest as many key players. Better utilise Roberto and Christensen as they are suspended. Also Fermin could use some minutes.
PSG is a very physical team , Barça players should be at their physical best dealing with them. Araujo and Kounde definitely could use some rest.

I’d call Faye in for that cb with Christensen, fort. Vitor at st. Fermin, oriol, roberto. Ferran and Felix at wings. Faye must be given chance along with roque.

inigo should start playing more. If FCB goes through in UCL, semifinals fixture is April 30/May 1, and finals even later in the month of May. I see him being a valuable asset to the team in regular season La Liga matches if clinching the title is a goal of theirs. Much rather start Inigo and Christenson against a team like Valencia than Cubarsi and Araujo. La Liga is a great goal but let's be real, Madrid is far ahead, and I don't see them choking the league. There's definitely a lot of football yet to be played but Barcelona are looking like true UCL contenders right now and they are one injury away from losing their momentum.

Why Marco A. in Jamie's team at central defense. Is Inigo M. injured. For me it will be H. Fort at right back, Inigo and Christensen in the middle Marcos A. at left back his natural position. Then in the midfield I will play Frenkie and Perdri with Oriol just so that both Perdri and Frenkie should gain more match steam and fitness before the big game. Then both can be subbed off with Firmin and S. Roberto. Meanwhile I will go with Jamie attack line with the only sub being Raphinna.
rotation is certainly needed however now is not the time to give up on la liga yet cuz a spot in top 2 is still a must in order to qualify for next year supercopa and girona is just 2 pts behind
Maybe award Kounde with a center back start along with Christensen. Alonso doesn't have the pace to take on counters and probably play as the attacking LB to provide width to felix, with fort at RB. I am feeling good about romeu. The man has a good attitude atleast and his last cameo was good.

I’m so confused with the back line. Fort is naturally a rn but he’s playing lb, Alonso is naturally a lb but he’s playing cb, and Kounde is naturally a bc and he’s playing rb. Why not just have them where they play naturally in a game like this

The proposed line-up is really conservative but of course we know what's at stake in the coming days. Spot on with the front three. However, the mid-field for me is missing a bit of quality. I think FD should start with minimal minutes as there is no one else to move the ball around and to support the attackers. Swap out either SR or FL with FD. With respect to the defense, Cadiz will rip it apart with Alonso there. With him coming off of a lengthy injury spell, he does possess the level that is required to play with the intensity that Cadiz will bring. If he should play, I think he should be deployed at left-back. Cubarsi has to start at least with minimal minutes. My two cents, let's see what's Xavi's line-up.

If not fear of Injury and suspension, I would have advise Xavi to play his best players in this one because I have the confidence that Barca can still catch up and even win LaLiga against Real Madrid. But, now that we faced with that fear, Gundugan , de jong and Pedri should be rested while I subscribe to the idea of resting Raphinha and Yamal as well in order to give opportunity to Roque and Jaoa Felix.
In the defensive area I think Martinez should have a look in then push Christensen into that holding position then Roberto and Romeo complete the midfield area while as suggested Fort, Martinez, Alonso and Faye should be given a look in. The case of Romeo is dicey but he can play deep allowing Christensen to go further. Lopez can come in later so also Kounde and or Cancelo.
Rest Cubarsi. God forbid Kounde gets hurt. You can put fort or Cancelo for right back. No replacing Cubarsi at center back. No disrespect to Kounde

Jamie, i love the way u are thinking but 2 areas I would revisit...with the backline i would rest both Caubarsi and Kounde since they markers are going to be full of energy and ready to prove a point. Secondly, i would play Frenkie for the 1st half since he was away for a long period and also because I don't trust Oriol Romeu that much. Faye and Victor must have a huge say in this game.
