What gets lost sometimes with Beckham is he turned into a leader on the pitch, garnered the respect of his team mates with his ferocious desire to win and the work rate to back it up on match days and on the training ground. He dragged teams through games and was just a winner from the moment he kicked a ball.
You can’t teach these things it’s part of your makeup, experience and personality.

It's very very simple. World Class means you're good enough to play in any team in the world. End of. And he did! Now that is the end of the debate but if you really don't get it, here's some extra proof if needed. He was the best in the world at crossing a ball and taking free kicks, so much so he had a movie named after his trademark technique. He had iconic matches, and scored iconic goals, one of which got England to a World Cup, he played 115 times for his country, and captained them 59 times. He won league titles in FOUR countries. There's more but if you still think David Beckham wasn't world class... you're a twit.

If David Beckham focused solely on football he would of been classed as better then Scholes and Giggs. Beckham was unbelievable in his prime. His prime he is clear of all England players bare Rooney and Harry Kane and even then I would take Becks over Harry Kane. Beckham was a one of a kind English player and we haven’t had a player kick a ball like him ever since.

managerial media comment masterclass from Pardew there. gives a lesson on how hoddle should have answered the question at the time. " i havent seen the documentary if im honest so i cant comment"
Hoddle could have easily said "i havent seen the incident back so i cant comment". now of course that would have been disingenuous but thats the standard approach to the situation of potentially hanging your player or team out to dry. You will hear this every single week in the PL, managers avoid the question. Thats just how its done.
Classic from Pardew even if he didnt mean it

Beckham is not grieve that much for what the English team manager said but his family was. His mum and dad was. All over the documentary David didn't lash out at anyone really. Posh is the one rightfully so lashing out to the media, and again she has all the right to do it. They were a young family and they were treated really badly. And that treatment from the media still goes on today with the bullying of McGuire.
