- Pretty crazy how close in price these two 2024 Ford F-150 trucks are and how they different they are in person. Which would you choose? A 2024 Ford F-150 Tremor or a 2024 Ford F-150 Lariat?

I've had both - the tremor has more capability off road without sacrificing any creature comforts. I think it looks better too.
Did you think the tremor rode as smooth as the lariat? I love the tremor look but don't offroad much and want the smooth ride. Can I have both? lol
@@williammoore5421it’s smoother than a lariat because of the off road suspension.
But heavy on fuel
@@williammoore5421 As far as I know tremor has a leaf spring suspention (very bad in term of cruising and daily driving)
Lariat comes with coiled spring (way better for cruising and daily driving)
Best of both worlds would be Lariat with a 2inch lifting kit IMO
@@abdulrahmanoweidah456 not true both have leaf spring suspension.
Tremor for the win. Looks so much better and aggressive.
Jill and Tim, excellent comparison and review. I’m enjoying the smaller comparisons segments like this. Thanks.
Have the Tremor and an XLT. Tremor is great, sitting taller, but the XLT cloth seats are more comfortable than the Tremor leather seats. Get about 19 mpg
on the Tremor, about 22 mpg on the XLT. Can't go wrong with either.
I bought a 2023 Tremor back in September... Love it. Hate the split tailgate on the one you are showing. The shine on the tires is whatever coating somebody slapped on there.
The tremor with high package is more expensive than the 4WD Lariat. I just went truck shopping, so I’m very familiar with the prices. They also are not discounted as much by the dealers and they do not qualify for incentives or special financing. For the money, I bought the Lariat. Put a lift and tires on it. Orange color wasn’t a factor in my decision.
im with you on that- lariat with lift.
Crazy that the bed rail height is literally as tall as Jill. There’s a reason I took out the block and put a lowering shackle on mine just to make it easier to load and unload.
Tremor looks great
I think I would go with the Tremor, it would great in my garage next to my pizazzy 2015 Lariat. Also you need to get a wireless mic for Jill so we can hear what she is saying when she is crawling under those trucks.
🤔 I had a wireless mic
I have a 22 tremor 150 loaded love it
same here
What’s your gas milage
Mines 16.5/19.5 with the Coyote @@layercake17
Excellent video!
Bought the 23 Lariat 502A package, B&O 18 speaker, deployable running boards, big fuel tank with FX4 and 5.0 (3.31 locking)
Why did you choose 3.31 locking?
@@Frdtsl Currently not pulling anything, better gas mileage, and it was in the one that we wanted. Had been looking for a Lariat, dark blue at the right price for a while. Honestly, I would have bought it had it had 3.73 or 3.55 anyways. And, the 3.31 has plenty of pick up for me. Coming from a 2018 4Runner. Plus, my wife drives a fast car if I need that acceleration.
Hey Jill and Tim,
I say great content thanks for sharing.
I honestly hate that they didn't keep the orange tow hooks on 2024 Tremors, when I get mine I will paint them.
Gotta love $75k trucks with halogen tag lights
I’m surprised they actually added a spray in bed usually Ford doesn’t
Tremors have higher interest rates (7%) vs Lariats (1.9%) for the same term, at least for 2023.
Why would that be? That’s not how loans work.
Tremors/raptors dont qualify for the 1.9% Ford finance offer@@Pickuptrucktalk
neither... after owning a diesel I don't see myself going to back to a gasser. Not the mention Ford has been the industry leader for recalls and warranty repairs 3 years straight.
I wish ford would let you have the lariat with the shifter on the column. One reason why I’ll always be in an XLT.
Lirait with the tremor package
Lariat with the Black Appearance Package
I went with the Lariat for a few reasons. ProPower OnBoard (7.2Kw), not a fan of the new grill. Coming from a heavily customized off-road vehicle. I’m ready for the comfort of the F150. Come on Job2, I would prefer the new tailgate.
You can adjust the chimes with forscan. You can adjust pretty much every option including how your lights work or how many times the blinker blinks with forscan This is why Ford wins
I would rather be XL maybe if I’m lucky the STX. The tremor and lariat are not affordable.
As an XL “Sport” F-150 owner I completely agree. It does everything I need and many important things I want from my truck. I simply can’t justify doubling the price for something that is essentially the same vehicle with a few added features.
Agreed 100%. I will be keeping my 2008 XLT
The 24 Tremors are fugly. I’ll keep my 23
I second that. 23 nailed the design and the convenience
Both have ambient lighting?
If that lariat had the pro power onboard thats the one i would choose.
They really cheaped out with the Tremor front end, simple decision to take the Lariat with FX4 at least, or go for Raptor if the capabilities are important to you.
The winch is not factory installed dealers install it.
Does the Lariat have trail turn assist? Mud/ruts, deep sand/snow etc? One city one country, no comparison in my opinion. Have a 22 tremor 402a
Had both, well lariat in my case. I traded in and never looked back. Tremor is the new standard of trucks imo. Lariat is also good but overall tremor is just a solid unit with the towing and off roading capability
The fancy tailgate isn't available yet.
The dual exhaust on the lariat is only available with the blackout package.
Yall need an editor . All your audio was coming out left end . All her audio came out right end . (Regardless of where yall were standing) . The vid itself wasn’t bad but listening to this way makes one feel deaf in one ear .
Should know how to open the upper glove box by now. The design was released in 2021.
I noticed 2 year old lariats are about half the current price.
If I could afford either one I would be Team Tremor all day. The optional winch looks like a big wart on the nose 👃 of the truck 🛻 lol but otherwise I like it.
As I mentioned in the LT Trail Boss vs High Country video I am 6’1” and I love to go hunting and fishing and camping 🏕️ and the Tremor will get me there easier.
It not only looks more off road but IS more off road worthy. 😎🇺🇸
The tremor!
Jill is adorable
Stx with a 6.5 foot bed.
Tremor all the way
Tremor grill looks like a plastic XL grille. Looks cheap. and totally agree with that stupid door chime.
Aux Switches are standard on Lariat, not an option.
Lariat has A/C front seats... Tremor does not
Give me the Lariat with the Yellow DRLs.
Also -- British Racing Green
And a signed copy of any LP record from Chicago (the band)
King ranch
Which rides better?
Lariat. It’s really about the tires. I do like the truck ride feel of the Tremor.
Tremor ride is smoother. Made to absorb bumps offroad. Lariat is more harsh, sporty truck ride i guess.
@@Pickuptrucktalk I have to get a Lariat in order to get the lighted truck bed and the homelink system aka garage door openers... I can get both on the LT Chevy for cheaper.. Ford F150 is a nice truck but Ford is not longer afFORDable...
Tremor for sure. 18 inch wheels Tires and off road suspension.
@@toddolson7273 to me, it depends on how you define a good ride. Tremor is softer vs Lariat. Is that better or is softer worse? That’s the question.
Bright red. Wrong color for a comparison video.
This sounds mean, but in my honest opinion, I would have liked this video a lot more if she would have stopped constantly interrupting him.
Both 😂
Tremor is a cheap copy of the Roush F150.
These trucks are to large for some one not in construction! I bought a Maverick hybrid a grcery getter! If i want something flashy i will drive .my Corvettes .
Does anyone else think the tremor with the winch belong on an episode of dr pimple popper? To me it looks so out of place.
Tremor......it actually has practical options, the lariat has has bells & whistles.
Lariat F150 Crew-Cab w/ 6.5 ft. bed & 5.0L & Dark Appearance Package........Oh, wait, cannot get the DAP w/ that box, only with the country club sized 5.5 ft. box!!
Wake up, Ford! Being in my mid-fifties, I only appreciate chrome on cars from the 80's & older. I am not the generation of either my dad or grand dad who loved chrome on everything (even on their breakfast Wheatie's).
Heck, the Tremor would be great if the 6.5 ft. box was available. I would gladly give up a bit of off-roadability for the convenience of having more bed space for one or two dog crates & other gear for camping/hunting trips, etc!! (Plus, I think the standard bed with the crew-cab looks a heck of a lot better , proportionally, rather than the cat/dog with a cut-off tail look of the short box.......
