My heart hurts for that poor piggie that had to be put down. That poor baby was in so much pain, you could tell. You guys did the right thing, so the poor baby didnt have to hurt anymore. Thank you Saskia andceveryone at the rescue for all you guys do!

It's Scooby 😂 and it was really sad 😔 but I would like to share with you something that happened shortly after we heard he had passed over! I was chunting away to myself about poor Scooby and l felt a poke in my side which made me jump. I carried on making coffee ☕ for the family and it happened again l don't mind who thinks l need help for being mad! But I knew who it was it was my Dad trying to tell me something from the other side from no where I said Dad go get Scooby and give him to Madison and Darcy and l got poked again at that moment l knew the job was done so he had a crap life now he has no pain he is running around and he has two kids to play with l ♥ your post!
This place is awesome. To take these piggies in and show them unconditional love and find new families for them makes me have faith in the world again. Wish I could adopt and support your rescue-if only there was a place like this in Ohio!
Ugh, the 2 boys in that small cage broke my heart. My girls were in the exact same situation for the first 2 years of their lives 😥
No hides, no hay, no room to do anything....they were in bad shape when I got them, but now they're absolutely thriving. I upgraded them to a double Midwest set up, with all the hides & hay their hearts desire lol It was amazing watching their transformation. They were SO scared and timid when I got them, they never had veggies or room to have alone time, and now they're absolute divas lol They come right up to me for treats & veggies and they pretty much run the show. I'll never understand why people get pets without doing proper research.

Saskia I cried and cried when I saw these beautiful little souls surrendered into the rescue. How can people do this to their pets and then as soon as they are sick they just give up on them. People think because GPs are small that they just don't matter - it makes me angry. Don't get a pet, or don't get your kids a pet if you're not going to be dedicated ! It totally breaks my heart. What a terribly tragedy to the beautiful little boy who passed away, and before he even got a name. To me, that is totally heart breaking. I am welling up just thinking about him. Thank you for taking in the sick and unloved and showing them care and love even in their last moments of life. I believe they take the love with them and I really hope that the little guy will finally be at peace. I bet a name will come to you completely out of the blue one day....know that it'll be him talking to you. People who speak animal language understand this ! xoxo

The two boys in that store-bought cage that have been living in for 3 years made me sad but "Henry broke my heart!! When you were working on Fyre's face I really thought that you were going to pull out a Cuterebra from the opening. In my years of working in a veterinary hospital, I've seen many of them and it never fails to give me the chills. I hope she heals quickly and without any complications. My heart just broke at the sight of that poor piggie who had to be euthanized. It's a blessing that he is now out of pain. May he rest in peace.

Saskia you understood immediately that this poor piggy was gravely ill and took immediate medication and treatment to relieve his situation, including euthanasia, thank you for his relief from the hell he was suffering.
I got 2 boy guinea pigs from my moms friend who had got them for her 9 year old and ended up not wanting them so I got them for free and obviously I have to now teach myself about these beautiful pigs and that's how i found your videos and I absolutely love your videos and what you do for the guinea pigs! You guys are all amazing people there.

I don't understand how people can do this to their little guys. I haven't had guinea pigs for about five or six years, but will be having them again in the future and they get treated like family, not just a fluffy decoration. My heart hurts for these precious littles.xx
The sweet baby who had to be euthanized name was Henry. As soon as Saskia asked the question, it was the only name that came to me. And when it was suggested, my daughter freaked out because I had already said it. Thank you for giving these babies the care and dignity they so deserve.

The poor bumble foot baby was so sick and his nose was white. He didn't even have enough energy to eat. Thank you for ending his suffering.

I rescued a pair of boys who lived almost 4 years in a cage like the first two boys :( So awful. Of course I quickly built them a C&C cage, and they have lived happily ever after :P

Help animals. Every day. You know where your money is going; you can see it. And who knows how much suffering has been averted by the education provided in this channel. I've learned a lot. Saskia sent me a postcard once to thank me for a donation, and its on our mantlepiece over the fireplace.

I’ve watched many of your videos and I love them! Oddly enough (possibly not) especially the boar cleaning. So satisfying. But one of the biggest things I’ve learned from your channel, is that that there needs to be rescues for so many “random” animals. I guinea pig is rather random to me, as it is not an animal I would think needs to have a rescue. Really makes me think about all the other “random” animals in the world!

Poor sweet babies. I wish people could understand how much personality each guinea pig possesses. I currently own 7 guinea pigs and each one is such a unique character. I like to think that when you take the time to get to know an animal as an individual you could never neglect or harm a piggy entrusted to your care. I would be devastated beyond measure if one of my pigs had a paw in that condition or a hole in its sweet little head. It is very true that you can tell the goodness of a person by the treatment of his/her animals.

Omg I literally cried when I saw that guinea's foot! I'm planning on getting two here in the next few months and I cant even imagine the amount of neglect it takes to get that bad! I will NEVER let my guineas turn out like that!

Now that I have two Guinea pigs it makes me super sad when guinea pigs are not treated well :( I think people just don't know how to take care of them. Thats why these educational videos are so great for people to learn from
