- 2024 seems to be a blank year for the Pokemon company in the way of main releases, and despite Legends Z-A being announced for 2025, could we be getting Johto remakes or a Stadium game?

Upon reading the title… I thought bro cooked without ingredient and just with air, but this is actually kind of convincing.
awesome video , honestly didn’t even know about the whole ILCA thing , but this makes sense they would do this after the response from BDSP. But the thought that they would spend an extra year to develop za really gives me some hope so i’m almost praying they just stick to that and come out with something really polished
ILCA is not the reason BD/SP remakes were bad. It was still game Freak's decision to have it remade faithfully.
I don’t care what anybody says about BDSP it has still probably been one of my favorite games to do challenge runs on just because the elite four is actually a challenge in this game. Also, it’s easy to transfer Pokémon from other generations there too.

Yes the problem wasn’t obviously *only* Ilca. But they made the buggy game, they couldn’t meet the deadline resulting in unfinished game being released, decisions like some *obvious* Platinum content being missing, like the upgraded Poketch is 100% on Ilca, not Game Freak (those things are Ilca not able to think for themselves and taking the guideline ”faithful remake” too literally), making exp share for full team without option to shut it off, but then not designing the game around it to match that change making the game stupid easy, is Ilca’s fault.
Game Freak was directing it on the macro, like D/P remake, no distrotion world, etc. But the buggy, unfinished end result with *literal same problems of D/P which were fixed in Platinum already, is all still on Ilca
Stop lying to yourself, they weren’t 100% the problem, but they did not do a good job, period
@@Shockwave377 Except for the replayability, and many features from Platinum were cut. They could have easily been inserted into the game even with a D/P story. That was just lazy game-making, period.
@@grydon6422 I'm not lying to myself. Many of the Platinum content was cut under GF orders. Thats even worse than a buggy game to honest. Also the game was not that buggy, I literally never encountered nothing harmful. Scarlet and Violet have twice the bugs and performance issues and they were made by GF.
ILCA actually made it look really good imo.
We'll have to wait and see.
Again.... we could just have a year off from mainline games, like that one time back in 2015 when there was no Mainline Pokémon Game following after the release of Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire back in 2014 and before the release of Sun and Moon in 2016.
But the only reason we had that break was because they had scrapped XY sequels that were in the works, leading to the anime picking up the slack and more or less showing us what could have been.

personally i hope nothing pokemon related comes out this year so they can put in more focus on Pokemon Legends Z-A
They're not putting any focus into PLZA at all. I fully expect PLZA to be a buggy n64 mesh shitbag. The only difference between this and PLA was that BDSP came out before. If you TRULY want GF to spend more time then you should be wanting this game in the oven until 2026 at the very earliest
I rather wait and see if the new Pokémon game is really coming out before Z-A on 2024.
BDSP would've been much better, if there was also the DistortionWorld... I missed that a lot 🤷🏻♂️

An official battle simulator is exactly what we need. We need it now more than ever. The setting would be similar to PBR where it would take place on an island. But the island would be big enough to have over 22 colosseums and will have mini-games. The lore behind the island would be that it was rebuilt by the same people who created the Battle Frontier to be bigger and better than Poketopia and was named Neo Poketopia.
Pokémon stadium 3 would be very cool bringing in all the Pokémon from 1th -9th gen rather then gatekeeping half the Pokémon
What about Pokemon Colosseum/XD for switch?
I want that most of all but I'm fine with a gen 2 or gen 5 remake

This would make the most sense, since they are one of the most popular pokemon games on the gamecube and Nintendo is no stranger to making remakes of older games.
This is something I've been wanting for some time now, even down to the extent of calling it New Pokemon Stadium.
And having a Metronome Mode to cap it off.
I hope either stadium 3 r gen 10 has all the gimmicks
Honestly, it would make the most sense for them to create a remake of older games like Pokemon Colosseum or Pokemon XD Gale of Darkness, the games are pretty old now and are widely considered to be cult classics on the gamecube.
Gen 5 is only widely anticipated if you forgot they gave them direct sequels. I do expect them soon, I never expected them in this next cycle, I always thought this is where they might change up the releases on us to make them less predictable.
I do want gen 5 btw, I think a Legends game set in Unova would be by far the most epic, because they could tell THE story, and frankly that story is the best one Pokemon has ever told....
But waiting to do it after they've smoothed over the issues that have cropped up or even waiting until the switch 2 to give it more juice absolutely makes sense to me.
I just want a fun Johto game with expanded encounters. Maybe a Johto after a terrible storm destroys the region, leaving new routes or dungeons to explore. I just love Johto

A new Pokemon Stadium, hell yeah! 100% with some badass mini games. I’d buy that in a heartbeat
Also, if they made a new stadium, imagine the cool tournaments they could hold for that game! If the Pokémon had fun animations like the originals, and Z-moves, megas, etc. that would be such an entertaining battle to watch. I’d actually watch the tournaments for once!
pokepark is the games that I would love to see them added to the switch and a new pokepark game as well
I’d love to see a new stadium game. That supports ALL Pokémon! Have it essentially be showdown.. transfer any Pokémon in from home, or use rentals (rentals don’t have to have every single Pokémon though, that would be crazy) but if it supported all Pokémon, and let us battle, and play mini games? Perfect! And since they don’t have to really create a world or storyline, they can focus that energy on making it able to support all 1000+ Pokémon! It’s a win-win! People that are upset the main games don’t support them can still play with all their Pokémon that have been stuck.
Would be cool if we get from gen 1 to gen 2 and gen 3 every time you finish a gen with full Pokédex and pokelegae you can choose to go next gen with a fresh start like the anime 😁 thats going to be legendary game 😊

BDSP were not bad games. They were just disappointing
I prefer they don't remake HGSS since those remakes were terrible. Didn't fix all the issues from Gold and Silver.

no just no. We are not getting a 2024 game. This is a fact. We not getting another bad Johto remake after HGSS. We not getting any more remakes on the Switch as we have two remakes on the switch. There is no spin off game coming this year. This year is a blank year.
Ahh i predict that no game till 2025 ig we have to just cope with old games but I feel this a right step considering the rushed games well we never know
