@@aidinexmachina4232 wow talk about being ableist. The subtitles aren't there for you, they're there for people who are hearing impaired or even just in a loud environment where they can't hear. They're an ACCESSIBILITY feature and they're completely inaccessible to the very people they target. It literally makes the video unwatchable for those of us that need them.

If Platinum made Volkner champion, made a similar guy the electric 8th gym leader, and Cynthia some random chick, people would hate it. That's how I feel about Emerald. Had Steven stayed Champion, I'd love it. I love that all the rom hacks keep him, further proving no one wanted Wallace
I get that AI genarated subtitles save you a lot of time as oposed to manually to adding them, but you really shoud revise it before publishing the video since there's always gonna be stuff that the AI will not understand correctly, especially in a Pokémon video.

I actually prefer Juan as the final gym leader over Wallace. As for Wallace, I'll never understand why he was made champion in emerald when Steven was the perfect character to be the champion for the Hoenn region. Wallace could've been made into a sort of final challenge for players participating in the region's contest challenge since it fits his flamboyant personality. Also it would make him a type of counterpart to Steven, both being the top trainers of their respective professions adding to the themes of duality and opposites that the gen three games had, specially if they made him use both water and ice type pokemon as opposed to Steven's steel and rock type pokemon.
To this day im still mad that zangoose, medicham and roselia arent obtainable in emerald

Candy Evie's? I'm skimming through hers and this is more like a copy my homework but change a few words (i.e. he says every exclusive pokemon instead of lotad line or seedot line). And the order is different to try disguise the plagiarism too.
Also in the intro sequence, Ruby shows mountains in the background symbolizing Groudon, meanwhile in Sapphire it uses the sea symbolizing Kyogre.

Something important to also note for the gym design changes is that they changed all the gyms in Emerald to also have at least 1 double battle - with the exception of Norman's gym - before reaching the gym leader
i miss old gamefreak when they don't have to make Pokemon Emerald, but they make it instead. same goes with Pokemon Crystal.

@@LadyAndreaRose1701 yeah. and Platinum too. but now they don't care about the fans. the only thing they care is money. i think it's just fine even if they just make one game at a time, but make it like Emerald and Platinum. make it better in quallity and rich content. for additional story and legendary pokemon, you can add that in DLC.

But also a likely thing that will happen because if you looked at Yuki's channel when you saw there wasn't a video critiquing this one, you would've seen there's quite a few critique and fact checking videos from this channel because they're all horrible word for word bulbapedia readings mixed with incorrect facts and possible plagiarism of parts of other CZcams's videos (copied the same name as Candy Evie's video from 7 years ago and some sections are near identical to hers)
Emerald has the one trainer that has a Chimecho. It's in the 7th puzzle of the Trick House!

His Linoone could have been the Zigzagoon he let Wally use and it probably just evolved while we were fighting the other Gyms
I actually prefer Juan as a Gym Leader rather than Wallace. When I first fought Wallace on Pokémon Sapphire, it was shockingly easy. Juan, by the other hand, took 5 tries
This video is good but there's way too many things that bothers myself and many veiwers for many reasons.
First off, the subtitles. They're most likely AI generated and that makes it extremely difficult for people who are hearing impaired to fully understand what you're talking about. (Edit: even the subtitles cover the credits for footage that's used.)
Second, the images used to showcase different areas. The biggest offender being Sootopolis City at 25:05 and the ones following that. It looks poorly put together and there are many better quality images that can be found online.
And finally, and this may be a personal critique, is how rushed the video feels. I've noticed on multiple occasions in the video that you double take parts of sentences when explaining different parts of the video. Doing multiple takes is okay and helps make the video seem well constructed and had the proper care put into it.
Absolutely right, I came down to the comments to say some of these, but you did so far more eloquently than I could have.
5:17 that’s ridiculous. By the time you meet Wally, you are right at the end of Victory Road. It will make more sense to just heal at Ever Grande City

I don't know why in emerald they removed the surskit lines, roselia, Meditite lines and zangoose and lunatone are removed from the game
Probably they wanted to maintain the need to trade between different versions of the game to “catch ‘em all.” That was the idea behind version exclusives in the first place… to encourage players to use the trade feature.
At least colosseum and gale of darkness exist and remedy this in a very fun way.... now if only all pokemon games were still in print so scalpers/resellers didnt have full reign on them

I suppose you could get a second Gameboy Advanced if Colosseum and Gale of Darkness are outside of your budget? I have a DS and a 3DS, so I can trade Pokémon freely between my copy of Diamond and my brother's copy of Pearl. (Granted a second Gameboy Advanced would probably cost more than a second DS or 3DS and I already owned the DS when I bought the 3DS...)
