I kinda hate the genwunning sincemost of the 151 are just animals or dragons with and element slapped on them whilst other gems had much more creative original pokemons

I have little faith Gamefreak could pull this off. I wish Nintendo could buy them out and hire a larger studio to work on a project like this to give it a Zelda like polish.

I was so hoping for Johto games coming up, since it made the most sense, since they remake every generation in chronological/release order, logically speaking after Sinnoh comes Johto since after DPPl was HGSS, and then after those we'd get Unova remakes, but Game Freak threw us a curveball with Legends Z-A and now I have no clue what to expect lol, will we ever get faithful retellings of Johto and Unova's stories? Who's to say? I'd love a Legends game based in old Johto and Kanto.

I actually liked brilliant diamond it's not my favorite Pokemon game but I've seen way worse games like et for the Atari and bugs Bunny's birthday blowout.

What they REALLY need to do is either put the GameBoy Pokemon games on the switch online service or release Pokemon red collection, Pokemon Blue collection, and Pokemon Yellow collection. Red collection would contain FireRed, HeartGold, Omega Ruby, Y, Black, Black 2, and Ultra Sun, Blue collection would have the opposite versions from Red. And Yellow would have Yellow, Crystal, Emerald, and Platinum. Or something like that. I don't know how to organize this stuff since its confusing on whether they would use the original versions, the remakes, or both. Hell! Let's just do this! Pokemon GameBoy collection with Red, Blue, Yellow, Silver, Gold, Crystal, Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, FireRed, and LeafGreen. Pokemon DS collection with Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold, SoulSilver, Black, White, Black 2, and White 2. And Pokemon 3DS collection with X, Y, Sun, Moon, Ultra Sun, Ultra Moon, and ORAS!!! Done! And give them all proper online functionalities!!! Just put all the Pokemon games on Switch and be done with it!!!! Oh and put Colosseum and XD on the Switch too because they are the greatest Pokemon games of all time! Do it Game Freak, you cowards!!!

I was going to write a comment but there is not a single thing that I agree with this video so it would have bee too long. I just think you are looking it the wrong way. legends isn't part of the remakes neither was let's go and BDSP was bad. gamefreak was ocupied with the main line games and legends so they got other company to make the remake and they just played it safe with a (over)simplified remake, they didn't even thought of preserving the time line

I just wish they would release gen 3, 4, 5 on the switch. I know they have 2 screens but they can just make another menue for it.

I think another Johto remake would absolutely kill. It’s all of us kids that are grown adults now that haven’t been able to keep up with gen 5-8 that would be buying it up!

I feel like it kinda makes sense they go for gen 6 instead of gen 5, they seem to do stuff half of their current gen, Gen 6 got Gen 3 remakes, Gen 8 got Gen 4 remakes so I think after Gen 10 releases that’s when we’ll get Gen 5 remakes and not in Gen 9, but Gen 9 makes sense since it can be split into 3 and make 3 Gen 3 gets remakes in Gen 6, Gen 6 gets remakes/prequel in Gen 9 and maybe Gen 9 gets remakes in Gen 12 or something

Unless Nintendo breaks there streak for the fist time ever. The Switch 2 will be using outdated hardware. At best we are looking at something with the equivalent power of the Nvidia 1080ti. but with around 8 GB of ram and a CPC that just barely meats the reequipments. HD 30 FPS for first party Nintendo games HD 60 FPS for third party developers who actually care. And still any modern game ported will need to run on the lower is not lowest settings.

You don't know what your talking about, gamefreak don't care if they make a good pokemon game all they care about is how to "low cost & high profit"

Maybe one day we’ll have a game that has all 10 generations in one core game. Then maybe DLCs for new regions and Pokémon. Each region you go through gives you achievements and keep your prior Pokémon but you can only use the Pokémon in the region to go through that specific region. So just like the anima you essentially start over with new Pokémon for the journey but you can battle online with everything you collect. That way each gym leader scales to your current team. There’s so much potential. Travel on joint adventures with friends. You both can’t choose the same starter but you can get benefits for traveling together vs soloing the adventure. More exp. Etc. exclusive items. Battle gyms in the same time frame. Then move on to new cities together. Go to new towns. Battle eachother to level up. Repeat gym battles Maybe even in game rewards from running a gym and defending it vs adventuring More as an elite 4 member. They would never do that. But I think the future is making one core open world game. Make that game really sharp in graphics and presentation. Then add DLCs over the course of 2-3 years. Until we get to current gen. People would have so much fun gradually making their way to gen 10. Base game has Kanto. Then in 3- 4 months we get johto. Etc. If Pokémon plays it well they can do something similar to what fortnite does but even better. Keep the core game the same. Update it to fix bugs and modernize it. You don’t have to recreate a new game every 3-4 years. But where you make your money is on DLC content and cosmetics. Specialized poke balls designs. Outfits. Accessories for your Pokémon to wear. Use the money you acquire to buy houses in certain regions. Etc. so much potential.

Yeah... it doesn't matter which system the game is on. Its whether game freak devs have time and effort allowed. Also if they can make non greedy decision. Like lets be honest. Pokemon Home is a scam. Why in the world do we need our phones to trade? Diamond and Pearl had it for free. It was called the trading station. Like bros n sis. We had free internet, we could trade within our games, no dlc, true we always, usually, got a 3rd game that had better upgrades or features. But still. We are being robbed every time we got it on the Switch. Like SwSh was lazy. And SV was better. But still felt rushed, incomplete, and cant do any trades within the game onlone. GtS shouldnt be tied down to Home.

They just need to re-release heartgold and souldsilver on the switch.

Please just have the gameboy games and ds AND 3ds games on the store too, the switch can handle it and i want my games back. one big pack of all old console games for 150$ and i would still pay up

Really want a gen 5 remake but a interesting way to Remake gen 1 and 2 would be to do a new connection storyline. The personal choice would be Current day, 25 to 30 years after Red and blue. You got 2 mirror paths starting there journeys in Kanto or Johto. The Starter line would be Exclusive to the Regions game you start. Pokemon Johto or Pokemon Kanto. Also add in all Pokemon connection to these gen from other gens, (Ex. Honchkrow or Rhyperior) and add more to boost type, Ghost, Dragon, Steel and Faeries, to the game as well

Gen V at the very least needs to be ported to newer hardware, its around 100 dollars to get one version of a generation. That’s not reasonable to expect the average gamer to try and buy.

So much talking about lore, lol. Noone care about lore in the end. They dont do a new game, just to dont hurt some lore-hardcorfans. They did a "faithfull" ... "remake", to outsource the game and makeing more money. Because paying GF stuff to make a Remake on FRLG/HGSS level would costs much more money and wont seel that better. Also they used Legends Arceus as a rushed Alpha/Beta Version of some Scarlet/Violet Mechanics. Its like people think they care about lore... lol. Same with Zelda. Even the devs said recently they give a shit about the overall lore and just doing great games. If that hurts the lore they dont really care. They dont even care for the timeline and just made some cause fans asking for. And also they splitting the remakes into "faithful"... "remake" and the Legends game is, that they can sell you 2 games, instead of just one. The heads of GF dont care about the Games, they just care about money. Thats why they still releasing bad unfinished games, selling 2 versions, selling games with no content, just to sell your the content one year later as DLC.

Just because it is a new console, it doesn't mean drastic improvements to the games. And the "Switch 2" sounds like another Wii U situation. It just doesn't sound like it is any different to the Switch. It sounds like another Lite or OLED switch system. Yeah the 4k sounds unlikely. Legends Z-A will not be on the next console. it be on the Switch. Kanto and Johto don't need to be on the next console. No thanks, voice acting in pokemon is a bad idea.

My ideas on the pokemon legends kanto and johto both regions would consider being one region in the past celebi travels to the present time to find a trainer to help it when the timeline changed in the past meeting both professors ancestors of kanto and johto finding clues on what happened to the old tin toweer before it was burned down what the three legendary beasts look like before ho-oh revived them the history of the apricorn pokeballs new evolution's, variants, and convert pokemon that were long forgotten new forms for Ho-oh and lugia

i rather not see another legends game after Z-A. But if there has to be one, then Johto can take the fall. I don't want Legends style games any where near Unova. I prefer remakes since the formula in remakes works. I am not interested in action RPG pokemon games like the Legends series.

While having them remade is sick. I don't get nintendo because they hate when you support piracy but then don't give you fruitful options to play the old games. its 2024, nintendo has a ton of content on the app play stores. Why not just release a Virtual Arcade where you can buy all the old games. they would make a killing in my opinion, and one step further. Make this Virtual Arcade also be on the switch for not a monthly subscription so you can play your games on your switch, switch 2, switch 3 etc and your phone. It makes no sense nowadays for this not to be done. Hell even throw it on ps5 and xbox, pc. Just keep all the newer games and remakes nintendo exclusive. Makes no sense to me lol... With my PC i can play a good majority of old games. sometimes you need a youtube tutorial to get it running on a modern OS. But i still can play them,

I'd say a Pokemon Colosseum definitive edition or adding onto the Colosseum story with gameplay adding onto the unique qualities of the switch would be much needed and would be very fun to play on. It would also be in harmony with steering from comfort creating to tapping into some of the origins and more of the Pokemon world and trainers alike

Let me get a tohjo legends and I'll never play another game..

At this point, gen 5 is so esthetically perfect that I'd rather get a port or nintento online ds app to emulate them officially on switch with home support and online features returned. Remaking them would be a waste imo. At most, I'd be cool with a remaster that makes the layered sprites a bit smoother or something like the square Enix HD2D games that still uses the original sprite work just touched up a bit for higher resolution. Legends kyurem being the actual new unova game then would be perfect so we can go back to the time of the twin princes and see the story behind the complete original dragon before it split into the Tao Trio. I've been begging gamefreak to give us the original dragon since bw2 when we only got to see the incomplete fusion.

It's been a little over a year since I've bought my Splatoon Oled. I'm definitely not going to buy Switch 2 just for a new pokemon game as much as I love pokemon. Especially if Nintendo doesn't have intention of making it a powerful console. I'll stick to the 1080p Oled I already have.

But if I think of BDSP and Legends Arceus together as “the remake,” then I can’t justify spending $180 to tell the story of Platinum but with still some downgrades in BDSP. It’s all good and well to see them as parts of a broader narrative, but that doesn’t make it a better product, especially not for the exorbitant price.

Its sad but a lifetime pokemon fan here is thinking of cutting the cord if they cant put out another colosseum or gale of darkness out soon maybe even moving away from Nintendo all together because of this or lack of this

i do hope the next pokemon games has online areas in the cities so we can meet other players in cities only and make a group with said people so we can explore together outside the cities

The whole pokemon was only supposed to be 2 generations is a mistranslation. When they were making gen 2 they already knew they were gonna continue pokemon as long as they could, what Ishihara meant was something akin to he could only work on the games directly for 2 gens.
