the idea that unown are essentially angels of Arceus is such a nice concept. especially how they do have similarities to what biblical angels look like.
I feel like there will be a ABC trio with A as the leader and XYZ trio with Z-Zygarde as leader. The ABC might have the same every as XYZ trio but with evil intentions..
I see it as regular pokemon games take place in the future while legends game take place in the past.
the unknown aren't angels lmao (Arceus is based on Shinto myth) they're a representation of the game's literal code. if anything, they're the "many arms of Arceus", who "uses the game code", a set of seemingly infinite letters that exist "behind the curtain" of the observable world and connect the pokemon world with ours, to do things like create a new egg with one of the creation legends. much like how someone with a gameshark or PKhex will write new code to inject a legendary into someone's game. they're strange and mysterious, seemingly unknowable creatures of unimaginable power (yet only when they're together as single letters alone have no real power) to the inhabitants of the world their power creates. they seemingly have very little will of their own, instead seeking out an intelligence to guide their "hand" on what to create, which they do by moving around in "string" formations. they're literally code.
it's just not obvious because the way they string together (and the fact that there's no bracket unknown forms) doesn't look recognizably like code even to us, but we're viewing the unknown through the eyes of people who live in the world of their making. if we lived in a world built on code and saw that code in front of us, would we recognize it as code? or would it look so completely unrecognizable to us that we could only fathom them as some type of godly creatures?

The unown being angels or soemthigb would be otetty cool
I can yotally see then dropping a Johto revisit or Unova remake at the end of the year as well
I want it to be the Abomination pokemon and it's ice-poison so it can take down all the others in the trio, but can still be checked by zygard.
zygarde has a 4x weakness to ice tho

@@skyjordanking still, it’s can still defeat zygarde if it outspeeds it, it should be poison-bug or smth instead, so that it counters Xerneas and yveltal, but zygarde can defeat it

@@skyjordanking I can see why you want an ice-poison type, but it would be better as a completely seperate pokemon
I really don't think them not showing gameplay is an indicator of it coming out on the next gen of switch because it feels like the tears of the kingdom discourse all over again. where, for the first few teasers, we didn't even know the name of the game, let alone see actual gameplay footage. So people were hyping it up, saying that it's because it's coming to switch 2, which we now know didnt happen. This is top of the fact that even though we saw a decent amount for BOTW, it was announced for wiiU but was still a flagship title for the switch. So i personally don't expect the switch 2 until '26 or '27 especially since i think they would want to have games that sell really well to help promote the launch of a "new" console, ie: pokemon game that's split into two versions, a big mario game, zelda, or some other heavy hitter, none of which has really been announced to my knowledge.
I hope we never get a legends johto all it would be is going back to kanto for the 20000th time
