Nicole has been the groups rapper since their inception, but rap was never required for their music. Jiyoung and Hara also support the rap sometimes, while Youngji is an all-rounder who filled the position in Nicole’s absence.
Nicole, Jiyoung, and Youngji performed together for the first time in 2022, and they had a full comeback with an album, performances, award shows, tv appearances, etc. and they’re still appearing together 9 months later, so I’m of the belief that means they’re back back.
The ending on When I Move had 6 mic stands, but also the beginning had 6 plate settings at the table with the other members.

Maybe you’ve already figured it out, but actually changes in the line-up happened before Mamma Mia. Both Nicole and Jiyoung left before that comeback (they’re the ones who had rap part in When I Move) and Youngji joined the group

Before mamma mia, Nicole and Jiyoung left the group then they made a show to add one more member and youngji won make them a 4 member group with Seungyeon, Gyuri, Hara and Youngji. After that they started a hiatus and in this time the others members besides Youngji left the company, then in later years you already know what happened with Hara. In the latest comeback When I Move, Nicole and Jiyoung came back and the line up became Seugyeon, Gyuri, Youngji, Nicole and Jiyoung, and actually was the first time this two meet Youngji but they showed a amazing chemistry. And they release a album in the latest comeback. The one u thought was new that was the second rapper in the When I Move mv is nicole hahah. Youngji the new one was add in Mamma mia and in When i Move she was the 3rd voice u said u like in the beginnig haha.

i think damaged lady sounds better in the live performances tbh. which is something!
the lineup change was between damaged lady and mamma mia~ theres no song in between. nicole and jiyoung left, then was kara project(a kard member and some former april members were also in that) which heo youngji won, then mamma mia was her debut. the whole thing was kind of a mess like the reception and fandom back then i've heard(not something i pay a lot of attention to), but i remember the song itself being quite popular and everyone does like youngji^^ personally i think she looked so cute back then. and her tone feels right, it wouldve been nice if the group hadnt gone on hiatus so soon after cupid~
