Brad Pitt is weirder than I remember.
Or Cary Elwes... Assssss yooooouuuuu wiiiiiiiiiishhhhhh!
Donât gas him up like that đ
He has a weird accshhhhhent though
@@crusaderqk He's Finnish you know :-)
I was thinking mckolee kulkin - yes that's the correct spelling
As someone who has practiced yoga for years, your problem is that you bend from your lower back (most guys do). You have to learn to bend from your hips, which takes your back out of the equation, and leads to less lower back pain and problems. I used to do the same thing in the beginning. Just get a well trained yogi to help you learn the difference. You'll also have less back trouble with other types of exercise. Good Luck!
UNDERRATED NEEDS MORE SUBS plz get him to 100k he's been grinding these vids
He is doing everything the unlazy way, just like the channel's title suggests. People love the lazy way more.
Ota on god
The way to improve in yoga is by letting go of the desperate need to improve. Accepting your limitations helps you get deeper in the pose. Even if you only use yoga as a sport, this video is not how you do yoga.
so you're not supposed to push yourself one day at a time for example what you do with working out? or just work within your limitations? and how can someone improve? im sorry im asking all these questions i'm just trying to learn before i start doing yoga
@@otaieb48 Thank you for your reply, I am glad you decided to prepare yourself well before you start. đ
It is a great to have a regular routine if you have a certain goal, but yoga is not to be done with the goal to challenge limitations. Far from it: The word "yoga" means both "connection" and "balance" in the Sanskrit language.
The physical yoga in this video is a form of Hatha yoga, but most yoga styles have nothing to do with anything that looks like sport. Although you won't really find much other yoga styles than Hatha yoga varieties outside India.
In Hatha yoga the aim is to never use more than 60 to 70% of your capabilities. This way you can use the poses and the breathing to connect with yourself, your body, your mind, and your emotions, and find a healthy balance within yourself which makes you feel comfortable in your own skin. It is way more about becoming aware who you are, and what you can do, *right now*, and accepting that, rather than how you can improve or push yourself through your physical bounderies. In fact: Forcing yourself into yoga poses is extremely dangerous, you risk seriously damaging your body if you do. You get deeper in yoga poses by relaxing the parts of the body you are using, rather than tensing them.
I hope this helped you. If you have more questions, feel free to ask. If I am able to answer them, I definitely will. đ
@@jimmybiemans8264 honestly thats beautifully put. some how like meditation, where what matters is the "now" and focusing on being aware of the present. in that sense i suppose its a form of meditation? thank you for taking the time to explain this I really appreciate it !!!! đđđœđđœđđœđđœ
@@otaieb48 Funny enough, it is the other way around. Meditation is a part of yoga, rather than yoga being a kind of meditation. Yoga is the ancestor of a lot of practices you wouldn't expect.
If you find a yoga school that focusses on self-development, instead of it being a part of a gym, you'll find that even only the Hatha yoga style (one style of eight different philosophies and practices) already includes learning discipline (yama), self-control (niyama), poses (asana), breathing (pranayama), withdrawing senses (pratyahara, first stage of meditation), concentration (dharana, second stage of meditation), meditation itself by sitting in silence, connecting with your inner world using introspection, balancing out everything that is happening within you (dhyana, last stage of meditation, first stage of enlightenment), becoming aware of eternal contentness/bliss (samadhi, second stage of enlightenment) and then letting go of everything you are, even samadhi (buddha, last stage of enlightenment).
Aside from this, you may sing mantras to plant seeds of intentions/resolutions within your subconscious to establish healthy habits, or sometimes to connect with your body (like when you sing "ohm", the vocal vibrations bring awareness to the sensations through the whole of your body). And you will probably learn a lot about yoga philosophies (sutra).
@@otaieb48 also what you describe as being in the "now" is actually the first practice in meditation you will learn when you study the yoga pilosophies. It is the first practice of the first sutra, and there are 198 sutras in most sacred yoga scriptures. A Western style of meditation, called mindfulness, is all about this first practice, and this first practice only.
Because Western culture is so much about the past and future, they get the most benefits from this first practice. Aside from that, most Western people don't have the potential to get much deeper into meditation unless they find themselves a real good spiritual guide (guru) who knows how to communicate about Consciousness in a way that is customised specifically for Western people, so they can improve in their meditation practice like most Indian students can.
you have got to be the most underrated youtuber i have ever seen.
Right?
yeah, he put in days or not months of effort to his videos yet he got so little attention haha niways love his work ;)
No one believes yoga is a good workout untill they try it! I have gotten so manny of my fitness friends hooked on this great mindfull workout!
See? This is why CZcams yoga is the best. If I can't scream, fart, cry, and fall out of poses, how can I call it relaxing? Being in a room of people is not conducive to yoga.
That's why you should stick to the beginners , it takes time for your body to get flexible, going to the advanced before the beginners can hurt and tear some compartments of your body lol
Iâm almost done with my yoga teacher training and this made me laugh so hard. My husband does yoga with me sometimes and he reacts the same way a lot of the time. đđ
đâïž
Super impressed with your videos. Theyâre fun, informative, genuine and honest. Youâve got a pretty unique style, and your videos continue to get better. Cheers man
Started with 30 days and last year I did yoga every single day. It's really helped my running too, BUT I wanted to say that this video is amazing, I have not laughed this hard in ages, so thank you and hope you kept up the yoga!
I've been doing Yoga with Adrian for about 6 months... It's a fairly chill series. My core strength and flexibility have improved greatly, and I'm not doing anything near advanced. I'm just showing up, doing what feels right in that particular practice (no pushing), and see improvement.
Thanks for sharing!!đ€© Keep it up!
I started one of Adrienneâs 30 day yoga courses recently, so being a novice myself I thought Iâd watch how you got on in your 30 day journey.
I liked the additional positives you discovered relating to your sporting career, and though that doesnât apply to me (I only run if Iâm being chased), I now know that Iâll still benefit, eventually, because my lower back, hips and shoulders are pretty shot as of today.
One thing thatâs helped me is watching you struggle re flexibility - purely because youâre athletic, and being honest about it. Knowing a much fitter individual is reduced to the same difficulties Iâm experiencing has taught me that yoga is unlike anything else, it really is a whole mind/body experience, and whoever we are or however fit we are we start at the same place - like weâre going to break something if we try too hard đđ
Great video, certainly helped this yoga novice.
You had me in absolute fits of laughter and also have inspired me to carry on on the very tough journey that is Yoga x
I never though I could actually enjoy practicing yoga as I am stiff ad a broomstick. Thanks to your ironic but damn serious challenge you helped improve my mood, my health and somehow my life, I will redeem your bonus month for sure, thank you a lot!
Amazingđ„ł thank you!
Love the side-by-side comparison between you and the yoga master. You are just like all of us; thanks for being willing to be bad at something before you get good at it. It's good motivation.
Youâre genuinely one of my favorite youtubers!! Love your videos
Great job! As a yoga enthusiast itâs life changing. I honor the light within you đđŒ
Thank you!
Big fan of your work, hope your hard work soon gets noticed by millions, who also then decides to subscribe ;)
You got me at less hip problems during running. Should definitely try Yoga then!
Awesome, go for it!
Not listening to app, moving to harder lessons.
"I can't do that..."
instert "I cant do that" meme here.
- no help, only anger
Not surprised, he often pushes himself and sees what his limits are and tries to better himself.
I know this video was a year ago. But I've been struggling with strength and mobility particularly in my right hamstring. Seeing someone almost as inflexible as me has helped me to realise that even I can get there. I'm going to start doing yoga everyday from here on out. Thanks for putting the time into this video
Hey, youâre ace and for a beginner you were amazing! Keep it up! âHealth is wealth, peace of mind is happiness, yoga shows the way.â(Swami Sivananda)
This is the energy I was feeling trying to get myself to do yoga today lol
Well done Jonne! The crow pose is still a pain here đđ
And oh boy am I happy that I found this channel. Having so much fun and knowledge watching
You are hilarious! I thoroughly enjoyed this video and I'm now more inspired to continue my yoga practice. Thank you đđŸ
I'm glad you set that challenge up those few weeks ago! - I joined in on the challenge and I'm now still working on it and I use it as a daily workout to get me going for the day! - Thanks for enabling this habit for me!
Great job!
First link Iâve ever clicked through on via CZcams. Great video man
Yoga was a lot harder than a thought when i first started, but it also help me so much
thanks for the motivation .... I really needed that
The key in yoga is love your limitation and let go of judgment about yourself
Im exactly the same with downward dog and my hips are inflexible as heck too - on day 9 of yoga now
I would like to thank you for doing the 30 days of yoga. I see how in just 30 days you were able to touch the floor, congratulations and I'm happy to hear that it helped with your running.! My hamstrings, hips and back are all very tight. and I too have thought about starting yoga so again, thank you for trying it out!
So happy I watched this video! I was laughing all the way through as I have zero flexibility as well so could relate to all the groans and comments of "what the ......!"
Keep up the great content!
This was a lot of fun to watch. As someone who has been doing yoga for more than 14 years (because my knees are just too bad to continue with heavy lifting like I had been doing, as well as other impact workouts), I can definitely attest to the fact that yoga can give you a seriously kick-butt workout.
Hey Jonne, you're great! I love your content and I am going to support you by getting into yoga! Take care!
Awesome! Thank you!
I try to do yoga every day. I go to a yoga studio and pay about 100 dollars a month for it. It's really hard but it's really good for me. I'm not very flexible or very strong but I love doing it. It calms my mind. I also have anxiety so it helps with that too.
I love your channel. It's amazing and totally motivational. You are proving it everyday, you're a myth. I hope you're getting rest mentally and physically! Xxx
If you dont mind that it is in german, i highly recommend Mady Morrisons channel!
She has a very big variety from very relaxing videos like the evening routine over some reeaally tough ones about balance but also some about your mind and breathing
Im doing her videos since around two years and still am not able to master all of it, but my overall body feeling, stretchiness and strength went up in such an incredible amount, just like my Back that doesnt hurt anymore after every body intense day of work.
Yes!!
It made me laugh consistently longer then I have in a long time you remind me of myself in so many ways lol
Most yoga poses take time and patience! Keep at it!â€ïž
Thank you! I've laughed quite a lot watching this!
As a Yoga Teacher, I found this HILLARIOUSâŒïžđ€Łđâïž
Love this!
I love this guy. Seriously.
:) âïž
Definitely need to start yoga... Great video!
yes, always yoga!!!
Dude how do you have so much fun and energy? Seriousluy
My moms dad was a yoga Legend like he drinks load of beer eats a lot and hardly moves in his work but still he was fit as a rock .
đ€Łđ€Łđ€Łđ€Łmade my day. Every yogi went trough this. Doesn't mean I'm already there...
Hi! I liked your video! I am a beginner in yoga. I haven't mastered too many poses yet, but I do see a little bit of progress. Thanks!
Genuinely look forward to these videos, just down right super content! đ„ł
Yay! Thank you!
Cheers for all your content! Been following you for a few months now, and I find It very interesting, usefull and enterteining. Cheers for that! đ
Awesome, thank you!
Awesome video, as always! Hehe I had a lot of fun. Also, thank you so much for recommending that yoga class. Since the gym is closed, I've been missing my yoga classes. I subscribed to skill yoga a few days ago to give it a try. Of course in-class classes are the best, but while we're in quarantine, that's a great option. The exercises are good and the video format too. Thank you!thank you!
That is awesome, thanks for sharingđ€©!
Your video popped up in my feed and I had the best laugh at this one because I can relate!đđđ I totally get the struggles you want through! To be frank having to battle boobs and a belly leaves me cussing and going WTH some days. Some days I am like why do I bother. But I push on any way. Yoga is definitely a life long practice that is beneficial. Hats to you sir for giving it a go!đ
I love your videos, I tried 30 days with no phone and I've never been more productive in my life
AWESOME!!đ€©
Good for you, nice work!
I can also recommend Sean Vigueâs channel. To whoever is looking for funny, challenging and life changing yoga workouts, thatâs simply the best option. It changed my life in so many ways...and the man is the most funny dude out there
Thanks for sharing!!
Amazing video once again. Very inspiring!
Lol. Cute. Love it that he is trying. Plus his accent extra cute.
Thanks for this very entertaining video on my number one favourite type of exercise. Also good to see how more men are embracing yoga as a serious workout. And kudos to showing your attempts (read: falling, wobbling, failing) of the different yoga poses. Yes some are hard ;)
Thank you for this recommendation. Always wanted to do yoga and now Iâm doing it with this app. Awesome!! đđŒđ„đŻ
Awesome!!đ
Amazing video as always!
new subscriber here! loved every minute of the vid! gonna restart my yoga journey todayyyy
Can't help but observe your house interior and i have to say i love the style. Also the video quality is amazing. And a tip to keep your back straight is to engage your core and look forward to keep your neck straight
đ thanks i will try do 30 days đ
You are great !!! đ
Hey, Great Video. Intertwining it with meditation is unequivocally beneficial.
Couldn't agree more!
They have 50% of yearly subscription at the moment so I went ahead and subscribedđ. What I like about this is that is seems very much oriented towards men, which is very much lacking in other apps.
We Finnish people definitely like to make noise when suffering lmao
Great video, your production level is just amazing!
Glad you like them!
love your vids. you totally deserve over a million subscribers!
Wow, thank you! :)
Bro your content is amazing!!!!!!! You should have million of views
Maybe one day!
Thank you for the challenge! I enjoyed following along :)
Glad you enjoyed it!
Your edit is crazy sick how do you do that so impressive your content is awesome you should definitely have millions of subscribers
Wow, thanks!đ
Always great content!
I appreciate that!
I love yoga cant wait to start again today this was a fun video to watch just reminds me of my first yoga class a bit đđ§ââïžđ„ Namaste
Hahhhahđ Namaste!
Have been binging your channel recently and can't help wondering what your day-job is. I would not be able to put in this much time and effort and I'm only a student xD. Amazing stuff btw, keep it up!
Wow I thought I wasnât flexible. Really puts it in into perspective for me hahaha
Funny and informative! Thanks
Hugs from Argentina đ€đ»
your approach to self improvement is truly unique. I aspire to be your level of wierd!
Great video, thank you. I have paid for 91 days yoga program few months ago but never got pass day too. You really motiveted me to finaly go for it and finish full 91 day. Otherwise I am very active, running and exercises more less every day. But ya I'm defiantly not flexible at all and my balance skills are not best as well. Looking forward to see what difference it will make and once I finish my 91 days program if I will find joy in it as I do in running I will definitely try this app too.
You got this!
...which reminds me of that I should start doing yoga again. Used to do 3-4 poses regularly in the past, especially "The plough" was my favourite, always made me sleep like a log afterwards. Suffering from "Norwegian Stiffness Syndrom" right now.. Greetings from Oslo
6:46 "your whole body is now in a straight line"
NO IT'S NOT đđ
Bless you sir was having a bad day and this put a smile on my face đ
I appreciate this. Iâm getting the app after watching this! Thank you đđ
awesome!!
Always entertaining!! đ
Lol, by fumbling around in his challenges to do more he not only showed that itâs okay to not be perfect, but also how far you can go if you maintain dedication with growing into yoga. I really really like that. Although, I do really advocate for going easy on yourself especially when you are a beginner beginner. Also to make sure anyone coming to start a true lifestyle change and dedication, I really recommend a more free source to practice with instead of jumping straight into a paid app. Yoga with Adriene is reeeeally good to start off with, her 30 day challenges can be really challenging too. Iâm starting with her movement challenge and I have to say out of a lot of solo exercising practices it gives me that soft spot to soreness that keeps me exciting and wanting to come back to the mat for more. I hope this helps someone make an amazing change to their life đ Definitely will check the app out once Iâve made yoga a deep seated habit, thank you for this video.
It seems a cool experience , and you make it more interesting with your unique explanation ... Good job bro, and thanks for posting those cools videos , waiting for more experiences.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks so much for your video and the link. I am going to give it a go! I need to strengthen my core and get some flexibility in my upper back and shoulders as I am a professional violinist. It's like doing extreme sports haha.
Awesome, go for it!đ
This video made my happy as it reminded me on my start. I am now one year into yoga. I have been doing it for three times a week in a small gym group. Yoga removed my sciatica and back pains from sitting. It also gave me a whole new perspective on how my body should feel, how I should sit, move, exercise. It is an ideal way of fitness for 90% of population. You just need to add some form of cardio and you are done.
WOW, THANKS FOR PUTTING ME IN THE VIDEO!
Keep up the good work! Very good content.
Much appreciated!
Glad you finally tried yoga keep it up. Love from Indonesia đźđ©â€ïž
Yay! Thank you!
Your cow face had improved a LOT! Look at the distance between the hands. Shoulder mobility (or any mobility) is a slow process. For some people it takes years for this amount of improvement. Well done you! Yoga has a great toolbox for improving life in general.
You are one of the best youtubers
Thanks for your support đ€!
yoga is life!!! I teach it too :)
After 1 year of yoga I feel like my flexibility has increased but not as much as I wished to! I was doing hotpod yoga (in a 40 degrees pod) and that makes a big change as all your muscles soften for the practice. Yoga is more about how it makes you feel, which is beautiful!
Did you get taller
Amazing! A guy who tries yoga. Keep on going
