2)Glover is 42!
3)The match was both standup as well on ground (unlike Usman vs Colby 1 or Joanna vs weili)

4)Both were too close to get the finish multiple times.
Their cardio and heart fighting at light heavyweight was crazy.(Common in lower weight class)
5)Glover hurt Jiri on standup.Jiri finally submitted him on ground .

As a guy from Czech đšđż too living in the states for most of my life and being a long time big UFC fan I told my my family before the fight if I ever have a heart attack it will happen tonight but thankfully Jiri đ put đšđż on the map and I couldn't be any more happier for him and our country. by far one of the greatest fights of all time. both hurt each other, back and forth from the first minute to the last. and then it ends in the last seconds by the striker submitting the BJJ black belt. what a sport!

He definitely did not earn that the easy way! I feel he is slightly disappointed in himself knowing glover was really beating him up for alot of the fight and took him to the deepest waters he's ever been in. But he should be proud of himself. I know he really cares about the path of a warrior. The warrior is not made from a quick and easy KO, the warrior is made when one can emerge from the deepest and darkest of places.
A good chunk of Jiri's performance was sloppy as well; there was times where he was rushing and that gave Glover a chance to take over. Either way, I'm glad he recognized this.

Jiri is built different! He got cut early on and went through some really rough moments where it looked like he was out on his feet and he battled through to submit the grappler. Loved his calm demeanor after the fight and "apologizing", even though it was an amazing fight. Also props to Glover for his shof of heart as well, I had Jiri as a favorite, but he proved that his grinding path to the title wasn't a coincidence.

The old warrior champ Teixeira was arguably about to win but then the young warrior Jiri just snatched victory in the last moments of the final round. Two of the most stand up guys in the promotion and I'm so glad they both got to give it their all with whole respect for each other. Congratulations to Jiri for showing Championship skill, heart, sportsmanship and same to Glover as he passed the torch. What a back and forth dog fight. Just amazing.

I was rooting for jiri and a bit disappointed considering he wasn't fighting but looking for a flashy finish like unecessary *jumping with a knee* or not following his shots
I knew he was gonna lose the fight to a decision since glover won the 1st, 4th(I don't remember) and was doing great in the last(shouldn't have jumped for a gulli on such a long and sweaty jiri)
