Jiri's chin is incredible, he was eating bombs from both Reyes and Volkan like nothing, that's the key to his success, his ability to take punishment.

Yeah. Current Bellator champ put all his power to push Jiri for 10 minutes mostly on ground. But it doesnt work and he ended completely exhausted while Jiri was pretty much fine and ready to continue. Jiri is just a Borg. :-) Unstoppable and relentless.

Luke is not even the best wrestler in his division when he used to be a middleweight he only dominated guys with no grappling background so of course he wouldn't dominate an underrated Polish bigger wrestler like Jan.. Jan cuts to 206 and walks the day of the fight as 220+ and he's still fast and he's powerfully experienced that's definitely why he's the biggest scariest LHW.. it's gonna be an interesting matchup against Glover.. then we can have fun with the winner facing Jiri.. excluding Jones anyone of these three can be champion.. but still Jiri and Jan have more potential to defeat Jones if he comes back

I've been watching and loving Jiri for years. It's so nice to see him finally get the recognition he deserves. He has already done some incredible things outside of the UFC and if you are a new fan, I encourage you to look back on his career and some of what he's already achieved.

The UFC has most of the best fighters currently. However, the fact that this killer came from Rizin and the success of a lot of the Strikeforce guys and Pride guys shows you that not all the best MMA fighters are in the UFC.
Obviously. They don't own the sport, they just dominate public mindshare because they run and promote it properly and are centered by a guiding ethos (best fight the best as a rule) which none of their competitors seem to understand or have the balls to emulate. If you're a professional mixed martial artist with a winning record and you don't fight in the UFC you're holding yourself back, period. If you want to truly test yourself in the harshest environment, you have to at least try a run in the UFC. Lima/Nemkov (who Jiri beat btw) etc are fantastic champions but we can't say how good they actually are until they fight the Usman/Colby/Leon's etc of the world. It's really that black and white.
Exactly UFC donât like to mention of course (to not promote indirectly another org) but ufc wasnât always the best MMA org and stil now some top fighters and champion of other promotion ko ufc top and champions.
Reducing MMA world to just one brand is a mistake but hardcore fans knows.
Of course currently ufc is number one but at some point every major organisation is high level, with ambitious and motivated professional fighters .
There is even some times when the place of ufc as nÂș1 is questionable when I see what existed and what is existing right now, plus the ufc rules is the softest MMA rules with amateur level sponsorship.

Jiri is a monster the combination of his pressure with his granite chin is a serious treat for anyone at 205. But he seriously needs to keep his hands up, he was getting tagged and he even got rocked.

Yeah, but putting his hands up would ruin his offense. The strikes coming from a low angle make them hard for the opposition to react. Plus, the low hands suit his high-pressure style. As long as he can continue and improve upon slipping and evading strikes, heâll be ok. Also, he needs to keep improving the ground game for more well-rounded guys like Blachowicz.
Thatâs how he got ko by king mo in rizing Grand Prix final. In the rematch, corrected by being patient and smart band got the ko in last round. But wasnât that fun fight.

@@ImDezi Not many wrestlers in the LHW division though! Not saying that he can't be taken down but the level of wrestling he will face from now on shouldn't be something that he would not be able to deal with. Most of the LHW guys seem to like to keep the fight on the feet and if they do so, it's probably a tough night out against someone like Jiri.

@Mark Douglas Actually the blue triangle represents Slovakia. Sovereign state nowadays. The original flag of Czech land is same as the national flag of Poland. Finally Jiri Prochazka is from Moravia so he could easily present two flags. The Moravian and the Czechoslovakian.

@@virtualmoravicus2542 Blue triangle was just randomly added to differ the flag from Polish one. It was never officially specified what it meant, even though it was understood as symbol for Slovakia, it was sometimes understood as representation of Moravia since it has blue flag as well.
