In 2046, two years after an impact event that threatens the survival of humanity, the Robinson family is selected for the 24th mission of the Resolute (24th Colonist Group), an interstellar spacecraft carrying selected families to colonize the Alpha Centauri planetary system.
Before they reach their destination, an alien robot breaches the Resolute's hull. Forced to evacuate the mothership in short-range Jupiter spacecraft, scores of colonists, among them the Robinsons, crash on a nearby habitable planet. There they must contend with a strange environment and battle their own personal demons as they search for a way back to the Resolute.

I just finished Season 2 (literally 30 minutes ago), and if there's one thing this series has taught me so far it's this: you'll need far, far worse things than black holes, crashing spaceships and murderous alien robots to beat plot armour...

Ich habe alle drei Staffeln hintereinander gesehen….und ich bin begeistert. Noch selten hat mich eine Serie emotional so berührt. Oft war es an der Grenze….doch es kamen immer wieder unerwartet Tränen. Durchhalten, mitfiebern, Erlösung, bangen, hoffen….alles ein super Mix. Und der kleine Will plötzlich erwachsen…schön zu sehen.😊✨❤️

I wish I could quadruple like this video, Was 1000% better than most videos trying to do a recap on a show that releases a new season.
I hope this form of the franchise gets more stuff added. A new Lost in Space series, or a game about building up Alpha Centauri and prep for more colonists to arrive, or find MORE robots to free from their programming. I WANT MORE!
ALSO, as for the Robot's instant turn to serve/help humans and gain free will; I think (not sure yet) that they've never really been helped before. They help eachother to a degree, but when a human helps them reassemble, they form a bond and gain access to the same emotions and thinking as humans, though not as extensive, but it increases over time. That's more or less my theory.

Nice work here. I'm blue that we won't get any further adventures with the Robinsons but I'm glad I watched the show. It was a really stellar mix of adventure, danger, heart, action, character development, and suspense. And Parker Posey stole the series with her performance as Smith.

@@kameron3967 well it's not so much a plot hole as just something I didn't get really.
They all hide any electrical thing they have or use and robot can sense the other robots presence over vast distances... but when robot is around the people SAR and the other robots are hunting/looking for they don't seem to be able to register his electrical energy or presence.
They're so desperate to find Will but they don't look for the robot that never leaves his side. They would know where he was in the same way robot knew where SAR and scarecrow etc were and that there was ”danger” 🤷
@@socrates5493 You’re right. I didn’t even realize that Will travels with a tracking device and the directors completely ignored that.
Fairly certain robot was able to mask his own signal at times

I just watched the final season and It was painful to get to the end, the show missed not one opportunity to have yet another heart felt moment pausing only for some family values. The whole story only exists to push these two messages, forget plausibility or rational conversations, what a waste of great actors and visual effects.
Why do I not remember a single thing form this recap, I’ll just have to rewatch 😭

the best thing about season three is they wrapped up everything...and left it open for more.
If you like soap operas in a space setting then season 3 should be right up your alley.
It is a constant shift from one crew member's drama to the next.
Very little of the lighter moments which made the original show so amusing.
I loved the first two seasons but struggled to make it to the end of season 3.

Nice recap. One continuity problem I had was in season 1 they established the Jupiter craft use a hydrocarbon liquid fuel. At the start of season 2, they can now power the ship from a lighting storm.

@@Turk380 You would still need electricity for pressure regulation, pretty sure it wasn't a lack of fuel as to why they were stranded and they needed to fully charge their depleted power supply to achieve flight capability again.
@@tri3183 what in gods holy name are you blathering about? You said a "generator can run a gas stove" ?? LOL HOW? gas stoves run on... wait for it.. GAS. generators produce electricity. maybe fancy modern gas stoves with timers and other BS have a plug on them.. but most just have a gas line. no electricity.
Loved the show! Watching Parker Posey as Dr. Smith was as much fun as watching JR Ewing in the original Dallas show back in the 70's and 80's. Wish they could have continued past Season 3 but they did end it well.
