I'm trying so hard to heal from this mental torture and abuse. My mother was the queen of narcissism and then, like a fool, I married the biggest narcissist in the world!! He just took his own life in the basement portion of the house right as our 😱children were upstairs!! That was his last "hurrah" and "look at me" moment!! I'm so exhausted, been so full of anger and self-hatred when it hasn't been my fault and I'm learning to heal, albeit very slowly and to quit blaming myself. It's very difficult and now my children are destroyed also. I hate him and my mother even though they're both deceased!!

I wish I had the right words to say for this situation. You would not believe how common this “last hurrah” moment is in the world of narcissism. Had one client whose narcissistic ex did it on the front porch so the college kids coming home from school would be the ones to find him. Truly horrific people!!!! My heart goes out to you and your children. I do offer a healing program that I think you would really find helpful. You can access it in the description of this video. It is called “The Cracks Within Me”.

The narcissist never learns and can not improve. They are the bottom of the barrel.

I've been with my narcissistic husband for 47 yrs. I really didn't understand what was going on until around 2009, when I was laid off from my job and searching the internet. I found 3 counselors, who I watched almost daily and then the light bulb went off. Since then, he's gotten much worse, due to his involvement with the White Supremacy hate group in our area. He even admitted to identifying as one, which was rare "truth confession" for him. I've put up with so much and worn out. God's kept me safe and I keep on in the direction He's leading me to go in. He knows everything I've had to face, and I've made it through it all, only by God's hand. I've told him that when our oldest grandson moves back into our home, that I'm moving out. It will stress me out way too much and I don't want to live with all the drama and chaos. I'm done.

My ex husband (narc). His Mom would make rude comments, I didn't know what was going on.

Your information today explained a relationship that I endured for over 35 yrs. A wife, a husband, and a sister of the husband. Br and sis very close, wife not included in " let's go out for coffee" wife not included, run , errands didn't even know they were gone, noticed when looking for husband. Oh, we didn't think you would want to go. Saw you reading your book, didn't want to disturb you. " You know she doesn't like you so why would she share that with your. Apparently it was ok with husband that wife was not want around but choose to allow the behavior. I guess he had some amount of narcissism in him too,!
