Unfortunately j cant read books anymore. I lost most of my vision 2 years ago. I've been learning magic for the last month. It's been hard but I find ways to make it work. I use audio books and youtube to learn what I can. Learning has been so uplifting for me.
Pray to the creator not to Jesus but to God the creator and fast to him if you can…… focus your Mind and ask God to give your eyes back and make a promise that you will not break under any circumstances and stick with it and cry to God without stop until you’ve broken through and again make sure you fast a couple times and pray to creator to help you
I highly recommend but you find out about Richard Turner. He is an amazing card magician who happens to be blind. Good luck on your endeavors. Magic is a wonderful skill to have.

Ive went through that book 3 times last year. Its a classic for a reason. Its just so solid

Other good books are any books written by Eugene Burger my favorite by Eugene Burger is Performance of Close up Magic
Thank you for this. I agree. Harry Anderson said when you learn magic from a book you put your own interpretation on it. When you learn it from a DVD you do it the way they do it, so everyone does that trick the same way.

My favorite happens to be Practical Mental Magic. And I see what you mean. The modern spirit slate secret can be found on youtube, The one in Practical Mental Magic is amazing. Unlike the modern day Spirit Slates, there is no flip, You can have the spectator draw or sign one of the slates, and place the chalk on the slate put the other on top, then "The Ghost Writes on the other slate". when revealed, The one that the spectator marked is still there, the other will have the message.
I'm going to buy ALL these!

Would expert card technique be good for beginners?
No, not really. I would suggest Royal Road to Card Magic or the first two volumes of Card College, for a specific interest in learning card magic.

@@AlexBoyer thanks bro after expert card technique it was very difficult to find forces unseen and now i finally bought bertram on sleight of hand which took me like 4 months to find and its very costly are these books rare or easy to find

Great video, great recommendations. Funny thing...the Klutz Book of Magic, a super beginner book, every library has it, has methods used by pros. It's not the moves, its the presentation.

It depends on how lazy or motivated you are.
Great vid my man! Really cheesy... but my favorite book still "Street Magic for Idiots" haha Honestly Tom Ogdon wrote it out beautifully. :) One of my first magic books when starting so it probably has a permanent place in my heart!
