Boom! Such an awesome trick! Thanks for sharing it with me. Need to visit Canada again soon so we can actually create a video in person...and go to petinos and Bulk Barn.
❤️
Yes please! More collabs
@@SpideyHypnosis we can do second deal as well
@@magicwithsoumith1061 no you can’t. Because you’re not only forcing the 2 of spades you need to force the TWO top cards and the bottom 4. You can’t do that with a bottom deal.
L😮
😮.

I know some people think learning how a trick is done makes it less magical. I do not feel the same way. The technique and presentation is magic to me, and far more interesting and entertaining than a trick.
Same for me!! I love seeing what magicians come up with, and also once you know the actual trick you can admire how they learned to do it so flawlessly
Yus
Exactly
I only find trick less magical if it's gimmick or gaff. Much prefer Sleight of hand.
Often knowing how it was done makes it all the more impressive. Sometimes it’s even more difficult to see where they do the “trickery” in their routine.
Added convincer:
Place duplicate force cards in two other random books at the same page number. Pick books with interesting first words on your chosen matching page number.
Memorize and associate those words with each book.
Display the three books to the spectators and have one freely chosen. Tell them there’s no way you could’ve known in advance what book they would’ve chosen.
Write your prediction using the word you memorized for that particular book and set it in plain view or give it to a spectator to hold.
Proceed with the trick as Spidey explained.
good one!
Sometimes when you see how a trick is done it's really disappointing but seeing how this was done just made it even more impressive.
Since you are choosing the card for them and know what it will be, it would be even more effective if, for example it was a 7 or hearts, if you picked the seventh word on the page as the word you wrote down. then when you “find” their card you could say something like “is this your card” and when they say yes, you then say “ok, so let’s count to the seventh word on the page” (which you have already written) - it just adds one more dimension
I really enjoyed the whole trick. I’ve been collecting so many techniques and moves, but the art of putting them together in a routine eludes me.
Like the creative process which goes in making this trick. Also I think this might be the only channel which shows us a performance first and then teaches a trick in detail including subtleties with over the shoulder view.
You really outdid yourself this time! My family was in aw. It’s really easy to learn and is really good. You never disappoint. MAGIC IS THE BEST!😄😄😄
I always wanted to learn how to use books as props. This fooled me so hard. And that ending, I did not see it coming.
@tigger t the guy who called you a fool has been banned from the channel. As you know this is a bully free channel and attacking you on grammar for an enthusiastic comment will not be tolerated 😊 glad you enjoyed the trick
@@SpideyHypnosis thank you. I figured that someone would see his comments at some point. In the mean time I just tried to be polite-ish.
@@tiggert4002 I mean who argues over vernacular like that? Penn often says on fool us “that fooled us really bad.” In magic there are degrees of fooling. Like if something fools you but you might have a bit of an idea or guesses it’s very different than you being completely clueless. So he was mean, and wrong.
@@SpideyHypnosis if we are being honest, people rarely speak or write correctly. As long as my point got across, it's fine. At least now that guy isn't going to bother anyone else. I like that about this channel, especially in the live streams, that you care about your followers.
I can't believe all the work and slight of hand that goes in to making these tricks seem so effortless. Ty for sharing. i agree knowing the trick doesn't take away from the magic it adds to it, cause it takes that much more talent to pull it off.
i learned that a year ago and it is still the best trick i have!
pls do more videos like that, it is so awsome that you involve so many diffrent parts and items in a magic. it makes it seems completly random. love that!
Very smooth. I watched the trick again in slow mode and only caught the missing pinkie (holding your spot) and hiding the 7 behind the 2. Very well executed. 👏
When performing in the real world again, after „throwing in“ the spectator‘s card you could casually ask a nearby audience member if she would like to help and throw in the remaining cards.
Yeah absolutely!
Oh wow thats good, I have a few ideas now to modify! I think I'll get audience members to come to the show with a book, get them at the start in the foyer, load every single book with a suitable number of pages backstage during the first half of the show- and get a spectator to choose a book from the stack. Damnit Spidey, your tutorials rock there's SO MUCH you can do with this!
At the start of the explanation, I'm just shaking my head, no I don't know how this trick was done. Then, just before the riffle force demo, my eyes are wide and I'm just grinning ear to ear, thinking, "This is brilliant!" Everything else is just icing. Well played, Spidey.
Hey Spidey!!!!!!!!
Been a big fan since 2 years but never got to thank you for what you do for us.
So....THANKS A LOTTTTTTTT
This was awesome! Thank you so much for this! There is a lot of opportunity to use this in a school setting, or casually with friends. Thanks, again!
I performed your trick it was a hit
Also I made some variations
For instance I used a dictionary instead of novel so the words won't repeat
And it was a great effect
Also I didn't have a proper duplicate card but I managed with a bit similar design placing it in the deck of cards
Which was greatly excepted because my family knew that we don't have a duplicate pair
Thanks for this superb trick
I can't imagine how creative you are for creating this routine. Thank you, I have something to impress my friends! 😊❤
Another EXCELLENT tutorial. Love this effect. Thank you for sharing.
I really loved the ending of the trick, where you showed how "destiny" brought the 6 cards together to literally make their card. That reminded me of a classic reveal, where 5 random letters a spectator chose somehow turned into a date. Not just any date, the date the trick was performed.
Please share the link if possible. It sounds really good
What a great routine, can’t wait to try this out. Thank you for sharing .
Awesome! And yes I think I would be cool to also make tutorials of whole routines/ tricks, however not all the, so that we can really appreciate the ones you would show us rarely! Keep it up.
One of the most amazing mental magic tricks I've ever seen. Your explanation is perfect too.
I've never looked into how it was done before, but I've seen that riffle force done enough times now that I know, whenever a magician uses that selection method, they're forcing a card.
that's fantastic thanks for sharing spidey as you was showing the trick i back engineered it to be a force as most predictions are but so cool to watch spectators face and to see the workings of it thanks for posting :)
Very clever! I see that it really doesn’t matter if the spectator doesn’t say stop where the forced page is and I don’t have to tear off the pages in the book. Thanks Spidey!
That's sooo cool!!! You know the best tricks Spidey! And I always love seeing Gali too. She's so super sweet. Thank you🥰
11:49 That switch is called the Allerton Switch by Bert Allerton!
Thanks 😊 will add to description. Any clue where it was published?
@@SpideyHypnosis it can be found in Card College vol 4, but I'm not sure where it was first published.
@@leavebenalone ok I’ll do some history research on it soon and place it in the description then. Thanks!
@@SpideyHypnosis already did it for you 😁
Excerpt from the credits section of Card College vol 4: "Allerton's switch first appeared in Hugards Magic Monthly, Vol. ill, No. 3, August 1945,
page 144. This magazine has recently been reprinted in book form by Magico: New York"
@@leavebenalone thanks so much!!! Adding now
That is such a cool trick! I love the fact that the last prediction is so different and not something written or like that. AMAZING!!!
Excellent trick, Spidey. Love the page number angle too. Looking forward to practicing this.
Oh Spidey this reminds me the one with Penn and Teller, love this one. Thanks for this and all the good vibes you always transmit to us
This is so clever! Awesome tutorial Spidey. Thoroughly enjoyed the performance and the explanation. This makes for a good virtual book test! 🔥
The DESTINY(cards thrown) got me🤣🤣...... definately adding to my act😆😆
WOW! WOW!...Yes that is a Double WOW...Not to be confused with BOW, BOW as that is a dog barking. Thank you for sharing a very powerful and relatively easy mentalism effect. Just a bit of practice and you have a WOW, WOW moment. Presentation is everything in this effect... as with all effects, even the easy ones, Practice, Practice, Practice.
Thanks Spidey, another awesome one. I really appreciate the detailed explanation, hints and tips how to perform. Thank you.
That’s awesome thanks for sharing. Yes I’d definitely love to see more like this
I love this !
Thank you so much
Wow this one was great. And I've been a fan of yours for awhile and since I've been watching I think I have internalized a ot of your techniques and while watching your performance I managed to catch the move where you moved the top card back with your thumb, and I noticed the fakeout where you didn't actually drop the card in, but even though I caught those two moves I didn't know why you did them or how they affected the trick specifically so the reveal was still spectacular. I imagine that many other magicians that you perform for have the ability to catch small moves sometimes but because mentalism is such a niche skill and you're so good at it that they are still so impressed ... thanks for this video!
Amazing. Thank you 😄
I've studied magic for quite a while and know my share of tricks, but this one caught me off guard. So many variables and it's drawn out to make it seem even more random. Well done!
I knew the 2 was forced but I wasn't sure of the method. Great card handling Spidey! That throwing the card into the book seemed suspicious to me but I was looking for how you were doing the trick. I figured you had to have been switching the 2 in there. I didn't realize it was already in there. Very awesome trick!
Thank you for the magnificent mentalism tutorials always! I love your channel, from Japan
Spidey I absolutely love your videos and you are very cool.
I really appreciate everything thing you do on this channel and your tricks are really dope.
My family was really amazed by these tricks and mentlism that I learned from your videos
This was kickass !!!! Had seen it in one of the shows and was blown by it.... Now the I've learnt how to do it.... I'm super-blown !!!!
Loved this! Has some neat twists. I’m a newbie and a little nervous about manipulating the cards.
You got this!!! 🤗. Just practice until you can do it without thought and you’re gonna crush it
This is great effect with a strong climax. Thank u very much for sharing this gem.
Thanks for teachinh that awesome effect. I have been searching for a gimmickless book test fo a LONG time. Deffinetly gonna buy Transcript.
You’re going to love it
I cannot wait to try this one. I’ve only been trying to learn magic a few weeks and have a hard time with the slight of hand moves when using slippery cards.
Woww SIr It was Awesome and yes we need this kind of practical experiments, thank you so much for sharing this trick, sending loads of love and respect from Chennai, India Sir🇮🇳🇮🇳😊😊🙏💓💓
Great Trick! For my style of magic, I would probably have a second person go through the book, looking for the card. I also might force the card differently, but I'm not yet sure.
Love the breakdown. Shows. Magic is easy to do. If you put in a lot of hard work. That's the magic
Bravo 👏🏻. What a KILLER EFFECT!! Will most likely use the same as did you but may use a sealed enveloped inside a Mayo jar and use the line like Johnny Carson did about keeping it in a sealed Mayo jar on funk and wagners porch.
I REALLY WANTED TO KNOW HOW THIS ONE WORKS AAAAH THANK YOU SO MUCH
What a clever trick! Thank you.
very clearly explained fabulous trick will be doing this on my grand kids they will love it thanks Spidey
Im 5 min in i already know how its done. Much love... U added the cards.. awsum... Love it..
Awesome effect. I was totally shocked. Incredible and it's not that hard. Thanks for a great tutorial ❤️.
Very cool Spidey. This is the first book test or book prediction I ever learned. Thank you very much Spidey. Super cool. I got something else in the arsenal now thanks a lot buddy.
Love this, seen so many free tricks given away by you. This is amazing and an awesome thing to do.
Awesome!! Thank you !!
Thank you so much for sharing man. You're making magic better. Mine specifically 😁
awesome! thanks for the tutorial
This one’s a real gem! Thanks!!
I have an idea of a trick where the secret is that there are a lot of different ways there could be a coincidence. There already is a trick (in multiple variations) that fits the idea, but I'd like more and better in some way such tricks. The existing trick is a small example of one. In it, an audience member guesses one of four options by selecting two so that there are now two and then selecting one of them. In both cases, the magician chooses whether to interpret that as choosing to leave or eliminate them. (I think I'd realise that after enough times, but I can't test that - it's complicated.) In my idea, there can be many ways it can go. For example, the magician can ask to pick the word in one of ways that seem special, combined with a choice of book where they can always find one for which the trick works. (The latter isn't really from this idea, but it's hard to use it alone to create a large one.) A downside of such a trick is that the magician may have a lot to memorise to only use a small but unpredictable fraction of it
This is amazing thank you for sharing :)
Amazing!!! As always! Thanks for staying awesome Spidey!!!
Good one, Spidey. Yeah, I want to learn more effects with multiple phases. Thanks for sharing.
Am a really big fan of Spidey... Taught me alot of stuff🔥 .. any notification from him from you tube and am always there

Great trick. Very clever. Your explanation is so clear.
excellent trick, thank you!
Simply great!!!
Great mental Magic. Thanks loads for sharing to the community.
When you were using the cards its was easy To follow the force but a the seconds of you touch the books i was fooled good tricks and thanks To share it
Nice!! Awesome virtual book test! Thanks.
I love this. I usually do cards and coins. Now I can add something different.
Love it very much!
Thank you so much dear 💕💕💕
It's just amazing👍😍😍

You're such a great magician, entertainer and teacher!
I so love that you selected a Paul Ekman book for this. Amazing.

Yooooo this was AWESOME realt good trick and great explination👍👍
Amazing ...Thank you so much..
Excellent trick. The manipulation components and card craft are not so difficult to practice and master. Love the overall trick and effect. I will use it to amaze friends. David S
Thank you so much this magic is very impressive
Great trick Spidey, THANKS!
Wow amazing trick thank you
This one is a gem!!
This is such an amazing card trick. One of the best tricks I have ever learned.
Spectacular. Love these videos and I’m so glad you are like Jane and completely aren’t afraid to teach us that mentalism is all smoke and mirrors.
Uff🔥🔥the ending tale to this trick was absolutely fantastic no words. We need more content from you sir🙏.
The video is very good, but the ending made the trick less enjoyable for me. After the prediction I wasn't sure how the trick was done, but as soon as I saw the cards are 256 257 the only possibility was that _none_ of the cards were random / free choice. After the initial "wow" moment, the ending literally removed a lot of the mystery.
Wow! I love the kicker ending with the cards revealing the page number! And the method is absolutely genius! Great video Spidey!
The video is very well done, but personally I think the ending takes away from the magic of the trick. After the prediction I wasn't sure how the trick was done, but as soon as I saw the cards are 256 257 the only possibility was that _none_ of the cards were random / free choice. After the initial "wow" moment, the ending literally removed a lot of the mystery for me.
@@theadamabrams the fact it’s an open prediction effect already makes it clear there’s a force involved. It wouldn’t be possible remotely, but in person this could be elevated to a mind reading routine, revealing much more than a single word. Though at that point you might as well just stick with Hoy and eliminate the cards all together.
I was blown away. Great trick
WOW! This is mind-blowing!
First of all, what an amazing trick. This will fool me a thousand times.
Also the preformance of tricks is something I love. It gives us some deeper insight of the trick.
I got a few questions.
Does it really matter that the second card you put into the book is the chosen card?
And the reveal on the end. That you show the number cards. Do you have any advice how to make it look magical, like in the tutorial, instead of a set-up trick?
Love your work and thanks for this awesome video.
