What a beast! A box to box midfield marshall. He remained in Cruyff's shadow in the public eye despite being one of the most complete footballers in his era (and probably ever). Thanks for the video!

The best Dutch midfielder ever
Wim Van Hanagem's performance in 1974 makes him my favorite all time Dutch midfielder, even though I think Neeskens was the one to be included in the team of the tournament, not Van Hanagem. To Nesskens credit, his goal against Brazil is one of Holland's best goals scored in a World Cup, in my opinion.

Magnifico jugador a mi entender poco valorado, como olvidar el cobarde codazo que le dio Pasarella en la final del 78 y que gracias a lo disminuido que quedo Argentina quedo campeon, porque Holanda ya los tenia en la mano ,solo era cuestion de tiempo.
