Cruyff's footprint on football is larger then any other player not only becuase of his footballing skills but his football philosophy that changed the game forever. No person has had more of a hand in the development of the game as him.
czcams.com/video/Sg2lAvCF-hQ/video.html
@TheGiorgi7 It's well known in The Netherlands that Cruyff would often overrule many decisions Michels made after he would leave the dressing room and apply his own gameplan in the Dutch National Squad and Ajax. Total Football was Cruyff's brain child and he has the managerial skills and succeses where ever he went as a captain and coach to prove it.
His footballing skills are all on film and if you don't believe me watch Maradona talk about him and The Dutch National Squad in 74 or any other Legend who saw him play.
@TheGiorgi7 Beckenbauer himself once said about the '74 World Cup "I happened to win the WC but Cruyff was the better player".

Cruyff created a special brand of near-perfect and effective football which is still played by certain clubs even today.
That's something really special.
@TheGiorgi7 true but Cruyff coached Barça in the 90s.
The Dream Team remember
And Guardiola is his desciple after all.
No it wasn't cruyff it was his coach but he was the one who executed it and carried it onto barca and now many football teams
@TheGiorgi7 yaa but it was cruijff who bring coach's philosophy on the pitch ... cruijff was coach on the field ..... because no one can understand better what that coach is telling other than cruijff that time...
@TheGiorgi7 âThe student learns from the Master before him and the Master learns from the Student after him.â
Michels learned just as much from Cruijff, as Cruijff did from him.
Unfortunately Michels became jealous of the accomplishments of his student and later blocked Cruijff from becoming the coach of one of the best Dutch teams attending the World Cup.
@TheGiorgi7 Rinus himself took Most Total fooball Ideas from Jack Reynolds. Just made a little tweak. Cryuff did the same but his the implementation in Dream Team took him over.

Johan Cruyff is often overlooked compared to Pele and Diego Maradona, but his legacy is arguably more enduring due to his philosophy as a coach because he taught a generation of players his tactics - most noticeable Pep Guardiola. Cruyff was not only a great player but also a great coach. This is what distinguishes him with Pele and Maradona
And then all his work off the pitch. His foundation does a lot for kids and disabled. Its nice to see a great man like Joham Cruijff play basketball or something with disabled children =) and competitive as he was as a player... not to beat them but he loves it when kids can play safely and to see them smile. How he helped make FC Barcelona the mega giant of a team theyâve become today. It also mentions at the end its potential downfall that we currently see with the team. But if Cruyff never joined Barcelona, we wouldnât have seen Messi, Pep Guardiola wouldnât have played or coached the team either.
