Why is the water pressure so high on one side of my house?

The water pressure on the outside faucet of my home is super high on one side, but normal on the other. Watch to find out why that is, and what can be done about it.

thank you, this was very helpful! i had an outside spigot installed and now IT is the highpressure one.... sort of annoying because previously the one by the pond was the firehouse and that made water changes faster.

After going through several hoses bursting, I put a pressure reducing valve on the actual spigot and it seems to be helping some. Now I have to figure out why my side of the house spigot is stuck and will not turn.

I have the opposite problem and cant seem to fix it. my whole house gets good water pressure but the spigot on my main line is super low and I have no clue on how to fix it

If it's your main line, depending on where you live, it could be that (1) the pressure coming from the city is low, or (2) the main shut off valve, which might be located in the ground near the street, is turned too low/tightened too much. In some areas, it's a fineable offense to mess with the shut-off valve near the street, so check before messing with it.
