Westfall is a nightmare for Alliance players. That's why many take the deeprun tram to ironforge and walk to Loch Modan to level. Which is a much better alternative.
In classic everyone went to westfall at lvl regardless of race cause the first dungeon was there
@@IPWNURFACE1000 Actually, Durotar and the Barrens had earlier dungeons.
I got my lvl 12-13 in Loch, then went to Westfall to do some quests and start DM chain, then back to Loch, then back to Westfall, and one time more, pretty slow, but very confident leveling.
Only dwarves and gnomes in Alliance vanilla leveled in Loch Modan over Westfall.

Man people don't realize how advantaged alliance were in AV. I'll have to give that vid a watch because it's a long list

My buddy tried out this game with us and died to one of the harvest watchers and quit the game lol. Legend has it, his skeleton is still there to this day.
I mean yeah, if he didn’t collect his body it’s a bunch of bones… but he was probably ported back to Stormwind during a talent reset around 2005.
The Onyxia thing makes me realize that a huge community of people that probably never played anything like WoW and she just stomped them by them
I was a casual who focused on PvE 90% of the time, but i played AV regularly, outside of max lvl characters while leveling, and i did AV and the two capture the flag BGs on my Nelf Mage.

funny enough in AV back in the day on my server alliance never won the only time they started winning was when it turned into a cross realm BG and even then only when they were able to zerg could they win

This is how i did AV as horde:
I wall-jumped the cliff by the south bunker, pulled an NPC closer to the edge and had warriors and druids charge up. Thereafter we ran straight up to vanndar without capping the GY. As we didn't want them to recap and spoil our tactics, then we killed him even with 4 marshals; alternatively waiting for 2 bunkers to go down! as no alliance ran back even when Vanndar yelled out, they assumed some rogue or druid attacked him solo and therefore didn't bother to run back and defend!

We used to farm AV as horde after people got it through their thick skulls that Stonehearth Grave Yard was the key to owning the game. People used to rush to Balinda and ignored the Ally GY right next to her and got whooped by the alliance spawning from that GY backing up Balinda. I had to shout out for months to take the SH GY and bottle neck IceWing Bunker. Once the heard finally followed that plan it became THE plan like everyone always knew it.. haha. God I got a lot of shit from the sheep for shouting out how to dominate the map every time. But once they all got that we never lost, never again.

I'll never forget 1 AV game in Classic where it was 40 Alliance vs 1 Horde, a AV to be remembered.
Which is good, as from what I understand it actually can take all day to complete.

I was around for vanilla. Not the best of the best like so many wowtubers allude to. Was mediocre admittedly. But I played both factions and you can clearly see the devs worked their asses off for alliance and clearly started run out of steam for horde development

And the reason why the horde general killed more was because alliance players sucked I mean you guys died allot against low lvl mobs lol also every time I did av they horde won even with the alliance advantages
That is why Classic will not last. EVERYONE is better than they were then.
The point of playing classic has almost nothing to do with skill or difficulty.
But the game is better too, and that is why everyone wants to play it.

AV was so Alliance advantaged it's a freaking joke. Then when Horde started running premades and started just destroying the Alliance, the Alliance players cried so hard on the forums that blizzard broke the horde premade add on.
