Italian here. I'm glad you liked Måneskin with "Zitti e Buoni" and I'm very pleased by your comments. Thank goodness someone showing some appreciation for the bass player (Victoria). She's great! They're all very talented and Damiano, the lead singer, has loads of charisma, really, you haven't seen anything yet... Live they are far better and the stage presence it's quite impressive considering their age (20-22). During Sanremo Festival, the one they won with this song, they performed with a full orchestra (like all the other singers/bands btw, it's a huge plus of Sanremo) and it sounded amazing! Love to The Black Mamba♥️ and thanks for representing Portugal calmly, with dignity, without alienating your own identity and, consequently, helping to build up a diversity ambience, which is a critical factor for ESC success! Art is not about consensus but rather about creativity!🤘👍
Furthermore, this is not a newborn band. They exist since 2010, they've a specific musical line inspired in the old school of years 60's - 70's and afro-american singers of soul, blues, funk, rock' n roll. In Eurovision they will be surfing away from the trendy, mainstream sounds but there are still thousands of people that will enjoy the opportunity to sail across different musical waves. That's what really matters.🥰🏆

The Black Mamba have been around since 2010 and that's how Tatanka (the singer) is, so he wasn't nervous or unused to playing live, and the same goes for the accent and the hat. You should at least get some info on the artists before jumping into the wrong judgment. It makes you lack credibility. Feel free to check the many other videos of the band on CZcams.

@@simmyminelli8479 lui si complimenta con Victoria perché suona molto bene e il riff di basso guida tutta la canzone. Si è stupito nella scelta del modello di basso molto inusuale e ha apprezzato la distorsione.
In generale sono tutti molto colpiti dalla presenza scenica (e credono che dal vivo saranno memorabili). Se sentissero la canzone in radio si fermerebbero per capire l'artista. La costruzione armonica è stata molto apprezzata e sono tutti molto impazienti di vedere il Live.

È vero che gli strumenti sono registrati, ma questo non fa che semplificare l'esibizione dei ragazzi che possono tranquillamente saltare, correre e fare un'esibizione visivamente d'impatto (non dovendo preoccuparsi degli strumenti).
Io spero sinceramente che la scenografia sia adatta al palco dell'eurovision, che ne so, tipo con giochi di luci e fuoco, qualcosa di maestoso, non le solite scenografia spoglie che portiamo sempre! In ogni caso non credo possa mai essere un flop, perché la canzone è forte, i ragazzi sono carismatici e sanno muoversi sul palco e i costumi saranno sicuramente spettacolari! I would have to agree on the order with you all.
1. Italy
Rock is not often my thing but this is pretty good. I like the wordy half-spoken bit. If I were into rock more this would probably crack my top 10.
2. Portugal
Interesting voice and keeps my attention. I would not listen to this on a loop though. It’s in the more open semi but might still struggle to qualify because it’s so specific.
3. Estonia
Based on genre I should prefer this out of this batch but it’s just sort of... there. It’s fine - but also not really doing anything. Unless it’s saved by staging I don’t see this qualifying.
