Guys, get with Jim, he is my therapist, I’m going to be a success story soon! Can’t wait for my video!! Make an appt with him seriously if you’re scared or struggling at all! He will get you on the path, and then KEEP you on the path! The symptoms try to scare us so much, we all really need a coach to hold the line when we can’t hold it.

I finally booked with him after 3 years of watching videos from a lot of different people as well as him. I’ve been doing this stuff all on my own and the other night I finally said, know what? You’re not really getting anywhere so it’s time for a coach. Three years of going in circles mostly because I couldn’t justify the money part.

We need to believe we’re worth the cost. What is peace of mind and well being worth? Is there a $ value? Your future self will thank you. Best of luck.

Wow - what a recovery story. So many parallels with mine - same age, same injury, at my bleakest last year like you I found the Curable App and Alan Gordon’s book. It was like I had found the Holy Grail. The fear went almost immediately and the pain has reduced permanently by 90% - I get occasional setbacks (twinges but who doesn’t) but they are very short-lived and I have learnt not to let myself spiral. Ongoing work to keep my nervous system calm but that is pleasurable. Thank you so much for sharing.

I’m so glad you talked about anxiety. That’s my biggest symptom along with chronic back pain. It’s not a mental thing, it’s such a strong physical sensation. I’ll have a small mental worry and then a huge physical anxiety reaction that persists. I love your videos. They are extremely helpful. Thank you for all you’re doing. When I get some money someday I’m hoping to work with you.

Jane- Your success story is amazing. I was having moderate physical symptoms from anxiety when I started to listen and I’ve watched them melt away from watching you share your discoveries and methods with us. The way you’re totally ok with/ your symptoms has shifted something that has long alluded me. I’m inspired to keep working for the clarity, confidence and joy you have found. Thanks so much.

Wow what a beautiful story and what a lovely woman Jayne is!! Her new found excitement for life is so contagious! The ending really changed my perspective… I have wanted to be a perfect in health… no more pain at all! But what you two said is true, it’s not possible but so what 🤷🏻‍♀️ I can still live my life and without FEAR, I know what this is… I am learning and putting into practice new tools and instead of thinking of implementing them as a chore, I can think of them as self care 💆🏻‍♀️❤…. Something I never did before my chronic symptoms. Thank you both for the interview!

Excellent recovery story! MBS healing is more than freedom from chronic pain! It is freedom to live as we were intended to live.
Also this is an excellent story of how to deal with symptoms which are inevitable after you are free from debilitating chronic pain.

It's very helpful to hear that with mind body it's a life long ongoing process. Thank you Jim and Jayne this has been a revelation to me on this journey ❤🙏

21:52 I find that dietary restriction increases fear. That was always my “fixing activity” of choice. Letting that go has been really critical to remaining pain free.

Brilliant. She persisted and found her own path. Valuable lessons come with the journey (if we choose.) For some anger/bitterness stays post healing. For a very few PTSD. More healing then needed on a diff level. Based on Jim’s bio he’s very aware of this. FWIW in Canada esp Ontario, Alberta or Quebec big cities incl Calgary, Toronto, Hamilton, Ottawa (Kingston hosp is near) have large teaching hosps w/pain treatment/mgt pgms that incl aspects similar to TMS or neuro plasticity. Good physiatrists have this info too but hard to find. Hope Jane’s good health lasts many yrs and she only builds on it. Use it or lose it esp as we age. ; )

This is exciting. Thank you! I have always believed that i can get well. Have you worked with asthmatics? I’ve been diagnosed with “severe and persistent asthma” and am on disability. I got asthma at age 16 and I am 64. I’ve done mindbody work for 14 years and I love it. I haven’t gotten physical results yet but I have gotten alot out of mindbody work.

Her story about the progression of her pain is so so similar to mine... How eventually you end up fearing the situation itself and being stuck completely isolated and unable to do anything.. In my case it is a nearly immovable digestive system. In my case it is also life threatening because eating and drinking is so hard.. The gastrointestinal doctor can only show me that the muscle movement is barely detectable, but he can´t find any other causes and thus solutions. So now we are pretty sure my extremely bad functioning gastrointestinal tract is a mind/body connection as a result of (c)ptsd as a result of emotional trauma(s).. I am so desperate and I don't know how to recover to such an extend I am just able to live..

I’d say of course. my mom had arthritis nodules and never EVER had pain sensations. It’s just another word the medical community uses when they don’t know what causes it, like fibromyalgia.
