    It's been 3+years with pain. I tend to think it's been so long that if it hasn't healed by now, I doubt it will. I need to learn how to combat/change that thought.

    Good when modern science catches up to ancient texts and knowledge. Like driving and needing to look where you want to go? Sounds easy but not w/ mult distractions. I also believe allowing any emotions is important (as you’ve said) vs suppressing or ignoring. Feel it to heal it is an old saying. Also not easy if used to pushing thru as many w/chronic pain (brain sensations) do. PS: Adding image of studies w/key text hilited as you talk about it (Dr Mobeen’s videos for ideas) and link to studies or reports in description box would be helpful. Thx Jim

    I will heal my chronic pain through mindfulness meditation. If I can constantly control my state of being then I can get so good at it and the symptoms will go away

      It and relaxing yoga helped over time. A few min consistently to make it a habit was best. J. Krishnamurti’s talks on meditation and posts/quotes on his foundation’s website and books were most help for me but we’re all diff. Peace and health.✌️

    I've been struggling with left sided upper back and chest pain for over a year. I've had my heart checked several times and told by a cardiologist that he thinks my heart is ok. Yet, every single time the pain comes on, it feels 100% like I'm having a heart attack. I feel the left side of my chest and back are being squeezed and crushed. The pain travels up my into my left shoulder and left side of neck, even into my left arm sometimes. I make videos for a tabletop game youtube channel and every time I sit at my table and speak for an extended period of time to make a video, the pain comes on and I feel like I'm having a heart attack. It's unbelievably painful and scary. I don't know how to just ignore it and relax because it feels entirely too intense. I don't understand how it's not my heart. I feel like the doctors must be missing something. It's never on the right side, always on the left. I don't know what to do.

    Thank you Jim, this is the best approach I've ever heard. All these techniques I believe have been sending more fear messages to my body-that I'm broken and need fixing, no wonder my anxiety got worse. I'm going to let go and just let it BE and know that my brain is just discharging old energy-and finally REST!!!

    Hi Jim. This is so true. I have always been very emotional and as an adult I suffer chronic pain and it's much worse when I am stressed or upset. Meditation and being aware of my thoughts help. Have you written a book yet? Thanks for your work.

    When I return to 100 percent exercise I ache and get nerve tingling symptoms which puts me on a downer again. Also get twitching everywhere too which I know is my nervous system overload but all very scary. I have been checked by a neurologist and am normal but I always feel like I'm aggravating my nerves when exercising. This all started 7 years ago when I started with PPPD dizziness which remains today

    This is the best somatic tracking meditation I've heard so far. It is excellent! For me, you are communicating in a way that I feel supported and held while doing something that can be pretty scary! I am able to feel safe and lean into my feelings and emotions in a much easier way.
