- Lesta recently announced a signal rework, introducing different tiers of new signals that combine the old ones. This entire setup looks like one short step away from absolute pay2win gameplay.

As someone in chat said, there's no way they did all of this just out of the goodness of their hearts. Absolutely no one has been asking for a signal rework. There's absolutely projected profits in adding 4 different tiers to the signals.

Uh...Communism does not work like that.
So they are essentially saying: if you want to be competetive in our serious thinking man's action game you are required to play their events whenever they want you to and probably pay up whenever they want you to.
I know that this is a Lesta change, but I am very concerned that this is one of the changes that WG will copy over to us
They would ignore all the good stuff but get inspired by this

As soon as I saw the requirement for achievement signals would be cumulative (earn any achievements x times), I thought there's a possibility of bots farmer running rampant, or a grinder being in a division with afk accounts for division achievements.
Also, they added stupid bonuses together, if I want to use my torpedo spd flag for my DDs I will spend my secondary flag as well. Now you will need tons more of flags, well thought WG.😆

Good point about clans playing better version of the game. Shame we can't just have that as the normal mode.
I visited a reddit thread that asked if WoW is P2W, back 2 years ago the majority of player still claim that it is a "Pay2Skip". I will really interesting for a new Reddit thread that talking about that and I want to know all those that defense WeeGee back in the day how do they defense them now...

Backtracking a bit you can notice every rework they do is for milking where they couldn't before: they removed signals for achievements to milk credits there (they also promised to give something in return but ofc that never happened), the research bureau to milk free xp more efectively, the xp modifiers to milk the past xp signals (we got a bunch from the exchange but they rarely give blue and red ones and the jump from gray to other levels is way too big) and now lesta tries to milk on the regular flags...
And here it comes 😂

It drives you crazy.I took about 1.5 years away from the game. I came back about 2 months ago. I go to play clanbattles and as a cruiser player, it would be essential to have both a Petra and a Napoli. So I grind the shit out of the Wisky (get it in 2 weeks lol ~10 hours per day)(only paid for 2 phases) as well as the petra and save the coal for the Napoli. I got to use the Petra for a week or so of the CB's test and I didn't play the Napoli (wanted to get practice first). Anyway, then the schedule for the next CB's comes out and I find out I can not play the Napoli or the Petra :/ I know you cant either, but I got all these ships in a few weeks literally just for CB's then they cancel being allowed to use the ships. So maybe I shouldn't bother buying the Top ships?! Especially if I find out I will only ever be able to use them in Randoms :/ I hardly play randoms anymore?!

The defense of "we already have this dog shit mechanic in the game, this is just us making it worse" is one hell of a defense.
The funny part is, even if Lesta goes pay to win, ... if your EU or US player, your WAY cheaper then anything on the Wargaming World of Warships.
Look up the Belarus version, convert the Doubloons to what you pay for Wargaming doubloons, and your getting 4x !!! the amount of doubloons. Containers etc, 3x !!! ... So the ironic part is, you can be whaling in pay to win and still be multiple times cheaper then playing the same game fairly on Wargaming their version. So if you spend 250 Euro, its like spending a 1000 Euro in EU money. You can theoretically whale most of the ships for like 300 Euro...
Ironically, that makes Lesta their version more interesting then Wargaming's..
O, and you can tell who has the graphical department. Lesta has better ship modules checking (ingame screen), clouds, etc... Just thing i noticed with just playing the game half a hour with the Belarus version.
I do not know, but i feel that Lesta tries more, where as Wargaming just keeps doing the same shit all over again. Even if Lesta is sometimes drunk on Vodka *lol*

+12% versus +20% flood chance is a VAST difference. That's literally going from around 1 of 10 torpedoes causing a flood to 1 of 5, and that's not even taking into account the percentages of the torpedoes themselves. Have they lost their minds?

This is Lesta's version of the game. WG is still interested in 'fixing' CV spotting by adding 50 new mechanics and hasn't given any inkling of f'ing over the combat signal system as of now.
game has always been p2w whales whale for the best ships and buy their flags and eco camos.
Yep, I do not understand the outrage when even in the past people with more money, had more chance of winning because they had rare ships with better stats. The main reason we get 75% paid/coal/steel ships these days vs 25% techtree is the entire pay to win and nerfing older ships over time. Instead of golden ammo, you had a Yamato at T9, or a better version of the techtree DD, or ... Aka, more firepower, speed or whatever aka, ... pay to win. Now people actually using that better, ........ world of tanks and gold ammo long time proven that paying does not make people better players ;)

Let's be honest: this game has always been pay to win wiith the signals. If you're a new player, no premium time, there is no universe you have enough credits to run flags.
Hell, I don't have the credits to run flags that much and I am an open beta player. I run 1 or 2 flags on most of the ships, very often even no flags, just to save them for other occasions.
obviously this turns it up to 11, but if you're a new player this game is crazy pay to win

The signal system itself is already pretty bad. This is reaaaaly scammy and i ask you: Where is the fun in that gamechanic? Who benefits from it?

Its the continuous act of braking promises that made me hate this game and eventually stop playing in the end. And it hurts, since the game as a whole used to be so great.
