I was just using this pedal for a song chorus. Glad I watched this video because it gave me some ideas. The F.F. 7 pedal has so many knobs, I hesitate to change settings once I've got a sound I like from fear of losing it. Sometimes I'll snap a photo to remember. If you get this pedal, I recommend you also have a pedal (or whatever) that can cut the signal quickly between songs, etc. What this video doesn't show you is that the F.F. 7 has a mind of its own when you're not playing (and sometimes when you are). AKA, F.F. 7 makes some weird sounds all on its own. You can also just punch it off quickly b/w songs, or if it starts talking (or yelling) at you. You've been warned.
This pedal is VERY different than the Fat Fuzz Factory or original Fuzz Factory. I just got one and compared side by side, and there is no use in comparing. The FF7 is very very dynamic. You can get so many different types of fuzz (and drive + clean sounds) that you can't get in other versions. This video doesn't do it full justice.
Zycho which one? The fat fuzz factory has a 3 octave switch while the FF7 has a 9 octave rotary knob. Basically gives you 6 more octaves. These can be thought of basically as "fat settings" that take the fuzz from super thick and bassy up to super high and thin. I usually leave mine around the middle.

Tuner pedals are great for cutting signal
Very well done! Precisely what I needed to hear. Thank you.
Nice review! Thanks!
fuck, this is what I've been searching for months, great demo guys, you sold me out, almost buy an EQD octave fuzzes but this...
I didn’t know this pedal was that old
This thing sounds awesome! It's not distortion it's fuzz! And that broken speaker sound is way cool. Now I think I know what Tame Impala is using.
Fantastic demo. Love the 8-bit "farts and blips!!"
I really enjoyed the 8-Bit part :)
5:17 sounds like mario coins!
imagine if you could MIDI access presets on this beast * drools *
Enter London this is analog...
@@RayQuazawski Analog can be controlled digitally... ask ChaseBliss
Are you downtuned half a step?
thick as hell!!
fuzz factory forever,,,,fuzz e ZVEX
so... only tone (high cut) and volume are added on tthe FF7? What it really needed was an octave function.

does it have the 'phat' function on it?

So much like the regular fuzz factory but lacking and adding something it’s a toss up
What amp are you using?
It says at 11 seconds in.
I prefer the old one
