That's no bad actually. Being stealthy can be a really good strategy too
You should have told people to preemptively hoard the rare attachments. If you see a sniper rifle or AR suppressor or a 8x scope, pick that shit up! Even if you never use it you might be keeping it from another player.
He did say that. He said to pick up thing you might need even if you dont have the gun yet.
I mean picking them up regardless. Not just picking up an attachment you might want later. Pick them up so someone else can't get them and specifically the rare and powerful attachments. Not holding a red dot on you until you pick up a gun.
Who wouldn't want to pick up a suppressor or 8x scope though?
Well if you have no weapon yet, or if you have like a UMP and a Shotgun or something, you wouldn't think to pick up a sniper suppressor necessarily. Even just the sniper extended mags and such are rare and potentially powerful items but you wouldn't necessarily pick it up if you didn't have a sniper or were looking for one.
Who doesn't love having a suppressor to a sniper from the first house you looted, at the point where it's 10-20 player game left, and you happen to have a sniper.

I personally have an i7-6700K and RX 480 8GB and I'm lucky if I keep 40fps in a town. All settings turned to the lowest they can be except draw distance, which is set to high.
I just bought a gtx 1050ti hoping it would help me with frame rate and render issues... so far I haven't seen much improvement,

Beast 007 i have a gtx 750ti and an i5 3330,8GB of RAM i got 30-45 fps but sometimes dip into the 20's,all setting on low except texture and view distance on high, personally it's playable but the major hiccup is really annoying

The biggest thing people seem to forget which was common even in Arma 3 BR is that if you're out of the circle and you see an enemy, don't take the shots unless entirely necessary, you're more than likely going to fuck your own game and the enemy's, rather than staying quiet, getting into the play zone and then dealing with them once you're back to a better health.
Also, plan your path into the next circle and what cover you're going to use before it shrinks, not whilst!

Actually very good facts and interesting strategy, I am one of those always staying close to the outside, I will try to play early game your style when I can, as you said, sometimes you just end up in the wrong area and have no choice.
Wow great tips thanks. The 1 win in 100 games on average stat made me feel like a special snowflake: I won my first solo on around game 10-15 and my second around game 25. Just won my third again on around game 50 ish. Still found lots of helpful tips in this. Thanks LevelCap!

Made it to top #3 yesterday by rushing the center of the circle, looting building and holding it until others tried it, eliminate them, switch positions...repeat. Pretty solid way to make it to the top 10 or even #1 if you're well equipped for the final firefights.
my pc never loads the buildings on time wich means i can never go to school because everybody can loot stuff while i have to wait for the buildings to load. any tips?

So if they have lvl 3 armor and lvl 3 helmet, you would theoretical deal more by doing arm and leg shots than body and head?

Just want to put my two cents out here and say that I found this channel through his PUBG videos, and I really do appreciate them. I love this game but damn it has a learning curve like I've rarely seen.

If i wear the Level 3 helmet, which provides face protection, and I equip also the Balistic mask. How much protection I get? I got both once, but died out of the zone helping a friend with cover fire before i could get my face shoot
In the really short time I have played battlegrounds, I found that things respawn in houses really fast (only a minute or 2) so I like to go somewhere hidden, and wait for the enemy to go into the safe zone, then loot everything they dropped, or didn't pick up, I can still get some kills, and then there are no players there
Does the neck area have the multiplier of the head or torso?

My best advice- always stick near the edge of the blue ring. Means you have less angles to cover (not having to constantly look back). From experience it's a mistake to rush to the middle of the white zone.
Levelcap, I hope your tab looting now mashing A and D at the same time, Speed looting saves lives
great work, could you please explain more about the silencer. i'm finding plenty of info about it's damage reduction, but i'm more curious about what exactly it sounds like, and if it really helps. like if i find a silencer for my pistol, is it worth getting close to someone who doesn't know i'm there to try and use it?
dont use a pistol unless you don't have a main gun. you only have so many shots, and pistols dont do that much tbh..

My worst problem is that I get frame rate drops when I look at other players and that the muzzle flash from auto assault rifles gives me frame lag aswell.

I like this game a lot but just like most FPS it relies too much on sound location. I am deaf in one ear so I am at a huge disadvantage. Some sort of visual indicator for audio directions would be great. If you have any suggestions please advise.
just bought this game today after watching you and matimio playing it. made it to #6 in my first game.
The last tip is really important. Don't get mad when you die, think about what you could have done differently while the encounter is still fresh in your mind. Also think about it while you are loading up the next game.
Dan Palla I agree, except with an early access game like this the bugs and glitches are frequent and frustrating. Makes it difficult to stay chill sometimes

Idk, but this could be a good tip for some with a entry level pc. Playing in High settings gives you better frames than Medium (as the current build in July 31). Happens to me and some friends but one friend gets bit laggy when opening inventory. Try it out.

The average (skill) player will never win 1 out of 100 games. They will always lose. The distribution of wins is obviously going to fall largely on a small number of winning players.
Saying the average player will win 1 in 100 games is like saying the average golfer would win 1 in 50 golf tournaments.
aluisious as the time pass players will be more skilled so they can win.
Can you just fire up a single player game to get feel for movement, looting and shooting?

Loving the Battlegrounds vids, to those who are playing BF instead of this, your crazy. I've played ~2000 hours of Batllefield games (the franchise is dying a bit, sorry) and not a single BF win has felt as good as winning a Battlegrounds game
What is your opinion on the "bob and weave" whilst behind cover or looting? I've gotten kills only because I can see some idiot strafing left and right on the spot. The sort of thing I wouldn't have noticed if they were still or prone.
P.s. I suck at this game.
You could also use ADDRAC to call them out. It stands for ALERT, DESCRIPTION, DIRECTION, RANGE, ACTION, COMMAND. you can leave any of these out of you want, but the more the merrier.
I can't wait for this game to come to consoles. It looks incredible. The ultimate battle royal game.
If you've played 100 games and one 2 matches, your above average.
Me: oh I've only played 3 singles and won them all.
No one seems to know/use the meds hotkeys: 7 = medkit, 8 = first aid, 9 = bandage, 0 = boost. Keeps from having to tab, mouse, right-click, esc; not to mention not having the screen obscured by the inventory screen during a firefight.
Another tip: ALWAYS GO FOR THE HIGHGROUND! Even if it means you have to take the scenic route it is always worth it because you will have better control of the battleground and greater cover.

People get confused with the callouts with floor levels, technically it's ground floor, 1st floor, 2nd floor in the UK. In America, it's 1st, 2nd etc and ground floor is usually referred to street level
jhnsnow421 in the US ground and first floor are the same thing but first is used much more commonly
It's standards for Building codes and standards in America to use 1st Floor instead of the Ground floor but yes your correct in what you're saying that people sometimes confusingly use both colloquially.
Not sure I would agree with you so much on getting to the center. Often if you check any of the top players on twitch, at the start they loot even out in the blue if meds permit. Though early game I can see this still being viable...However late game going directly to the center means you have people on all sides. Late game circles, you almost always want to slowly follow the blue in to ensure no one is behind you.
So Levelcap, with the new CZcams Adsense Monetization Rules are you feeling the affects yet? Especially with the 5th bullet point about war etc...
I wish you could make a custom server and design the map.
It would probably take a while thought to make a map...
They will add a full Mod support, people will be able to create new map, and you can already host a match setting the rules, if you are into this kind of things you can watch sacriel on twitch he does matches for his subscriber where he sets rules, like no firearms (that one was lol) or double rate of air drop, team of 8 people etc..

Being an intermediate player myself (in my personal and honest opinion) I truly believe that PUBG will only grow in population which will weed out more and more "experienced" players into the game, making it more "competitive". When the game released on Steam, I felt like it wasn't relatively difficult (at least in solo), but as the months have gone on, it has for sure gotten increasingly harder. Everyone wants to be the best PUBG player.
There's no better feeling than steeling someone's bike while the area is shrinking.

173 games 7 wins im not doing bad then and it really ticks me off when my team shoots at someone that usnt a threat its like why are you giving your possition away
I have questions about the moment when he's shot at 9:00... 1- how did he know the shots were coming from his right and not behind him? 2- Why did he choose to use a medkit without knowing how far away the enemy was? The enemy could have sneaked up on him and finished him at point blank. 3- Most importantly, why did he keep facing forward instead of turning his cam to the right in hopes to catch said player approaching him?

Played about 40 games so far and had 2 top 5 finishes and about 4 top 10 finishes and I'm playing on my first built PC so moving over from console has been interesting. 2-3 kills per game is about my average just now. I'm stealthy lol but my biggest issue has been getting used to the aim because the players are so spread out you can go a full 30 mins and only have about 2-5 engagements this doesn't make for good shooting practice. Gonna play some mimi royal to improve.

I had my first 1v1 battle the other day and my armpits were squirting water out of them my hands were shaking and I made a mistake by peaking my head around a tree to take a perfect head shot and lost. This game is gonna give me a heart attack!!
How do you know homany meters someone is in game?
Also another tip for duo/squad is if a person goes down first they have teammates left if they die instant then they were the last of their group
I got 2 questions concerning the game:
1. How big can a squad be?
2. If your squad is the only one surviving have you won the game, or do the squadmates need to fight each other then, so that there is only 1 survivor every time?

Hey for any of you getting bad fps in the game get a msi gtx 1050 ti on newegg. It only cost 170$ and gets you 70 fps + on low settings. You also get rocket league for free
