My desserts usually involve 3 steps:
1. Buy it
2. Take it home
3. Eat it
I have 3 steps also.
1 buy it
2 eat it
3 cry in shame.... đ«
my step are :
1 buy it
2 not enough money
3 cried at home
Sol Li Most people don't have the time to make a 34531 step dessert.
Zerrie=Everlasting 4.share it with my family and cat
You donât even remove the packaging
"What are you going home to?"

"Nothing"
I felt that
too relatable
That was such a cliche.

Masterchef US: You must make 3 eggs (1 fried, 1 poached and 1 soft boiled) in 15 minutes
Masterchef Australia: Make us an icicle cheesecake bobka in 15 minutes
That...doesn't sound right...dude
Stan Vanillo hmm.. boil the 3 eggs together?
Itâs 3 eggs, 1 poached, 1 fried and 1 soft boiled in 8 mins
@@berrieshunter8592 multitasking i guess
I agree. Master Chef in countries other than the United States have been far more difficult.
I felt sorry for the last contestant like after he dropped it you could see he was devastated how heavy it was.
And that's the guy that made the best dessert in all of masterchef coming from marco pierre too.
Don't feel too sorry. He was eliminated, and was offered an internship by Polyviu. That is a blessing in disguise
he made it out of depleted uranium
Me too. I went "oh no".
I woudt love to have the heavy one, there is something that gets you full.
Not these 50$ deserts after that you think, have i eating something or just inhaled a bit.
74 steps to make this dessert? Wth? I couldn't even make a 5 steps dessert. Props to them who can make it
Although the contestants can go home on these challenges they gain so much learning through these highly technical dishes. Awesome.
Same. Even 3 steps are too much. No wonder such desserts are costly cause the amount of work, time and effort is a lot
I usually pop the condensed milk, take it with a spoon and puth on my mouth, can I consider it being 3 steps?
@@jackieenois Step 1: Pop lid. Step 2: Get spoon. Step 3: Eat.
Checks out.
That's why they are in a competition.
Wow the Australia version definitely lists way higher on creativity, skills and technique compared to its American counterpart.
I mean here we have half the people undercook their meat every week and the most dreaded dish is a souffle.
Same with Indonesia. Why is it, I wonder. Maybe Australia has a better food culture? Being so multicultural. I certainly feel that way when I was there.
@@Phonixrmf I'm not sure what the format for Masterchef Indonesia is, but Masterchef Australia really likes to take its time with the contestants and the actual tasks. For example, a regular elimination challenge takes a full 50 to 60 minute episode (and there are 5 episodes per week for a good 10 to 12 weeks, and eliminations happen twice a week), and that gives you more time to watch the processes involved and to get to know the contestants. The American version at least is 42 minutes long, packing a Mystery Box + Elimination all in one episode, which is super hectic imho (plus the network editing makes it seem even worse).
Australia is very multicultural as you say, but that also means they receive a lot from the surrounding countries (it's super common there to have contestants who are foreigners or Australians with Italian, Greek, Southeast Asian, Korean or Middle Eastern ancestry; Ben Ungermann, the runner-up from Season 9, is Australian with Dutch and Australian ancestry). Cultural differences aside, most Masterchef versions usually don't have 60 to 70 episodes per season, and don't devote single episodes to single challenges, which makes it impossible to have challenges of this level of difficulty.
Itâs Australiaâs education system, they encourage kids since young age to let out imaginations and be creative, and working on lots of art works at school. And thereâre cooking classes as well. Iâd been there and now my kidsâ turns âșïž
USA is all about the competition.. In the Australian version they are much more friendly
Same in UK. Australia and Canada are wayyy better
To be honest, Masterchef Australia has the most difficult challenges in my opinion
Yes, every season there are always very complex desserts at the same time creative dessert challenges
And the nicest judges
The French one is also really challenging i remember seeing an episode with two candidates (one of them had only one hand) they asked him to prepare a luxury pasta dish without pasta
@@youngwolf1009 wait what? Pasta dish without a pasta?
Yes, and they are more professional
This is why its expensive to eat in a fancy restaurant

I wonder how it feels to drop the dessert and hear the sound of failure echo out...

Sophisticated and delicate dessert challenge which I donât see in US version LOL
The US version is a joke. The Australian one is the best. I've said for years that take any US Master Chef winner, they'd be lucky to get past auditions in Australia.
Masterchef usa is for entertainment, every other version is for actual cooking XD
@ElephantsLover Wiki says UK is the original.
US always about basic... cake, cupcake, pie, steak... Nothing inventive... but i dont like Australia final round. They show the score while US make us more wonder who won.
Guess it's because all over the US fast food is more cultural than real cooking... I mean... why people will spend time to cook if they can buy something cheap and eat it standing up or walking... it's cultural I guess... no offense.
Me the first time I started MasterChef: OMG everyone's amazing

7:55 wtf they even stops the music to make it more depressing
There is no need to make it round and perfect if u want to break it so badly before eatingđđđ
Itâs for the artistry
I think they are more interested in making fancy dishes just for the sake of artistry
Yeah exactly so much waste on the table. The table is hungry too..
Its called presentation a part of the price you pay at restaurants is for the presentation also. Otherwise y dont they mix it in the same bowl and eat.
@Nathanael Choo Joe should just bin himself
Things you need to watch out for in Australia

Make a beautiful dessert and still dont know what to do if after kicked out of masterchef...

@@BeczaBot true... if were him, i wouldn't even care about masterchef...
@@mrghostmanghost5595 Can't really say that when it's MasterChef giving him the opportunity to do stuff like this though. Getting further means more valuable opportunities to learn from world-class chefs, more chances to learn how to use new ingredients, and more experience in top kitchens that you wouldn't get anywhere else.

Any idea who gets eliminated??
Watching this make me miss "Reynold poernomo"
Sameee
well the guy who got eliminated made a dessert that was claimed to be the best dessert ever tasted by marco pierre white and Anna even let him work in her kitchen for a while so i believe it's a dessert anyone would struggle with including reynold.
Our desert king
I keep thinking of scenes from the anime Shokugeki no Soma (Food Wars) except the judges are not stripping from the taste of the pastry.
Lol

Yess lmaoo
Masterchef Australia is way better than the other versions...the chefs have amazing skills!!
That is, by far the most beautiful looking dessert I have ever seen!!!

That design is so clever, and yet actually elegantly simple, its strange to have not seen that before. Still genius either way though.
Wow what an incredible desert! SO beautiful.

I wish they would upload the latest episodes because this is like a few years ago.
It is a full of creative dessert. It is art
This is Season 8 of Australia's MasterChef . Presented by Matt Preston , George Calombaris , Gary Mehigan .
I love it when they cut out the most important part of the episode.
It's such a sophisticated piece of art.
Never thought of splattering food as a way to serve.
My kitty cat is going to be so happy at my next meal!
Even the mess it made is more beautiful than anything i could make.

I really love how diversity elements you put in the show. This episode you have cute chef with punk hairstyles and no one care to bully about. Besides in some country, they will criticize how the chef look more the how talented they are. I really hope that people respect and accept more than outside appearance
A lot of chefs who complete here get a lot of job opportunities in restaurants even if they weren't home first
I think masterchef Australia is the best
Beautiful creations'
That sound on the third guys dropping was so funny. You could've just heard the audio from the three drops and make an Oooo face on the last.
