They broke him. He took compliment after compliment from the judges and that made him more confident, the judges praised him and that made him think he was going to win. But then they come out of nowhere and throw him under the bus and that crushed him, that wasn’t fair especially after hearing about his problems with his family and that he really wanted this not for selfish reasons, he was passionate. They were intimidated and jealous and that shows

It's when judges allow emotion to cloud judgement, that it's no longer a competition about the food itself. This is why so many people hate on all the got talent shows, because anyone with a sob story always wins

Rewatching this season now and I feel bad seeing him getting so close and eliminated. It’s the same thing last time. It’s a fact that he’s one of the best contestant in the entire MC universe, but as they people need to understand that the best cooks have their bad days too and unfortunately his fate was sealed in that challenge. He’s a dessert maestro for sure. No one can take that title from him

Reynolds is perfect at making desserts, but that doesn't make him a perfect chef... Just because he didn't win, doesn't mean that they were intimidated by him... If his dish lags behind in taste, its not their fault...

She probably knows what it feels like. Our parents moved to foreign countries, worked hard... all for their children, to help them have stability in life. The children therefore want to repay the favour and give their parents an easy life. It's a relatable feeling.
