I’m not sure if my shoulders are too narrow but I cannot get the straps to stay spread out on my shoulders. Is it okay to wear with them just straight on.

I’m the same. It irritates me to no end. But I think it’s more a comfort and support thing. I think it takes the strain off your neck and back perhaps?
