I dont use the infant insert but just commenting here the ergobaby carrier I have is so hard to put one by myself especially the back strap... there’s too much steps to do so I dont use it as much as I expected
We are really struggling with putting this thing on! And in our manual it says that the baby's feet should be up on the pillow she sits on (when she's under 1 month old) but then we squash her feet when we put it on. Also that's not what she does in this video but it clearly says so in the manual! We have the designers edition 'bundle of joy' original.
I know this was a long time ago, but for anyone currently watching- feet should not be up on the pillow, regardless of what the manual says. That can cause harm to baby's hips! All weight should be on baby's bottom on the pillow, not on the feet. This is one of my least favorite carriers for newborns- 6 months, but can be used comfortably with effort if it's what you have.

This is my last favorite model for any baby newborn-6 months. They have better models now, but I personally prefer the lillebaby carriers as they work without any insert from newborn through toddlerhood and are super comfortable with a superior lumbar and headrest!
Just bought the insert for the ergo original carrier I’ve had for years, to use with my 1 month old. There’s no swaddle strap, the head area doesn’t snap down either. Has this changed in the last several years? I think I’m remembering why I never used it with my other 2 🤔🙄
+Queen Bee I just bought this thing and tried it. It's not easy to put on by yourself at all. The music in this video makes it sound like a child could do it, but I'll probably return the carrier. There are other much more simple ones out there.
This insert is really not handy. Tried it out once - twice - finally got myself a different baby carrier. By the way, i've never seen somebody with that insert on the streets. Must be a reason why...

2 weeks after I gave birth was wearing a size 26 jean. I was a 24 before I got pregnant and already in shape which probably helped me bounce back so fast. But also genetic are probably the real mvps. Everyone's genetics are different dude. Don't be upset because another womans body handled pregnancy different than yours did. At the end we all got blessed with a beauty baby which is what's truly important!
This works even better when someone is helping you put it on.
I have this carrier. Somehow I used it with my son. But that kid was huge 😂. With this babe I’m buying a wrap for newborn time.

@@cod_fallout_queen8859 you could definitely use it- you just want to make sure you have baby's bottom on the pillow and worn like shown here!
