Your setup looks nice and clean! I have a few questions for you as a fellow 22r turbo truck owner. Do you have an aftermarket camshaft? If so, did you find it helped considerably with power above 5000 rpm? Did it completely kill the low end torque/truck vibes? The reason I ask is because I have a t3/t4 50 trim turbo with a 0.63 a/r stage 3 turbine and hit full boost around 3500 rpm. However, at 5000rpm the power falls off hard (stock cam) making the power-band very narrow. I'm thinking about trying an aftermarket cam (comp 260s) to shift the top end power up by ~500 rpm, but I don't want to completely kill the low end torque.
Thinking of building one with full aftermarket LCE bottom end & top end for big boost on e85...but if it can't make 500hp I think I'll just spend that money elsewhere. Any thoughts ?
@2gioz is close to 500bhp he puts down around 380whp. Our setups are totally different. I believe it’s possible but the cost would be a lot so it depends on your budget. Any motor that puts down 500whp will cost a lot $$$ hp isn’t cheap. I’d say do you, I built my truck to have more fun cruising around. If you do build a 500hp 22r you’ll be a legend🙌🏽

I’m running the Lce pro turbo cam.
These trucks aren’t made to rev above 5 k insert 3-35 k should be peak range
@@owen2239 stock bottom end can handle 7k rpm all day if you were to port the heads and get a bigger cam you would get a lot better high end power
