The more boost you run the less compression ratio you want. 9.5:1 is perfect for 10 psi but if you ever want to push the boost up to 20 you’re way better off at 8.5:1.
What’s up bro, I bought a 85 with supposedly a Lce crate 22r it has the red top and the computer etc but feels like it’s not as fast as it should be. How do I tell if it’s an actual built motor?
@@kamikaze_670 thank you for replying, maybe it’s just me, this is my first 22r I had many k24 hardbody’s stock that I feel would whoop my 85. My 85 has ice headers and carbureted. It’s a nice truck, wish I could send pics through comments. But I’ll try to find the og and contact lce

I'm based in washington as well but with the LCE exhaust system on a 1988. Would be cool to see the trucks together

It’s carbureted so no ecu. I use msd 6al2 programmable to dial in my timing with a locked out distributor.

what’s your fuel set up look like? electric pump fuel regulators?
45gph fuel pump, upgraded 3/8 fuel lines inlet and return, Lce boost referenced fpr and inline fuel pressure gauge.
