I love Weekend Update because it’s so hard to tell how much of it is improv and how much is completely scripted.
99,9% is scripted.
@@bepowerification that’s actually not exactly true. Generally speaking they do stick to a script for timing reasons but alot of guests and regulars do improv and you can clearly tell because that’s typically when they break character.

I can't believe Cecily Strong wasn't nominated for an Emmy this year. She is amazing at everything she does on here. In my opinion, Cecily deserved a nomination over Aidy Bryant. She's funny and all but she really doesn't do many characters. Cecily is just as talented as Kate.

I had high expectations of scandal from the memo. But even after 3 readings I couldn't find anything substantial. They spend part of a short document misquoting Comey, which suggests they hope people won't check what Comey actually said about the dossier. Adjectives like "essential" are employed, but "essential" is an adjective with no legal meaning. It doesn't mean "only" or even "primary". The memo is a public relations exercise.

OK.... Did I say that? Or even imply it? What I was trying to "say" in around about way was that this was extremely funny, and we have all heard cats doing this, screaming for a mate. I didn't say anything like what you are saying.
But since you have taken the conversation there I will say that we are not so different from our fellow creatures, especially mammals like cats. We are not as different as some people like to think. The major difference between a female cat screeching for a mate and a woman at a bar in short skirt and 5 inch pumps wearing too much perfume is the amount of time they have to find a mate. If humans only had a few hours to find a mate we would be screaming in the street, or out by the dumpster like a cat.
Your claims that humans are different are not true, it is just that we have more time, so we don't have to be quite so desperate. But make no mistake reproduction is the top, most important, driving biological imperative. P
