Why is any American allowed to have more than one Passport?
bluetextbooks They consider passports as a limitation of their freedoms, so there is no strict regulations or control on federal level. Majority of Americans never got a passport, others have several, nobody cares.
X88B88 for the record, the 3 passports and having a phone under an alias isn't really illegal in and of itself, it definitely makes people wonder what you're hiding though

One can have both a government and civilian passport (soldiers in the military usually do)
bluetextbooks if someone has an American parent and a parent from another nation (or were born in another country besides America) they can have two passports. It’s called dual citizenship and it’s fairly common. America allows it but they don’t recognize your other citizenship within America.
