I have to completely agree with you about the lack of concern Parisians seem to have for those around them. Cyclist will ride down the sidewalk without actually slowing down and regardless of how many pedestrians are on the sidewalk. It’s dangerous and it’s scary! It’s especially bad in le 3ème (around Pompidou and Les Halles). I’m so grateful that they stopped allowing electric scooter rental because there was a huge safety issue with them using the sidewalks.
