Great video… I can totally understand your frustration with the restaurant… and i feel with you complaining to them and doing the video you take charge…I would say draw the line and let it go…and hopefully with the other negative things that happen. I get very happy positive vibes from you so don’t let anyone take that away! 😊stay well.

The "rock" dance looks a lot like rockabilly.

I use to be a dance teacher for latin and ballroom dance, and they call that the Jive.

I'm not sure where it fits in your restaurant rankings, but we LOVED La Rotunde restaurant (4 times!) in the 6th.

Hi from Ontario Canada. I found your weight loss journey vids and love them. I was down to 167 lbs. in Feb when I suffered a stroke and went into hospital. They discovered undiagnosed heart and thyroid issues caused my stroke and put me on lots of meds. I have put on close to 50 lbs. of fat and water and it hasn't stopped. I was just about to finally buy my first summer dresses this year as I felt I was okay looking now. Well that's on hold as I'm often up at least one pound and sometimes 5 pounds a day! I know, crazy. I am watching all of your videos now as you are so positive and full of life and hopefully when this weight gain finally stops, they tell me it could be several more months of this, I can follow along with your advice and try to lose it again. Stay happy as you never know when life will suddenly do a 180. LOL

Dance takes practice, a consistent partner so you can learn how they lead and anticipate movements

It's important to pick your battles, Arielle, and let the others go. Otherwise, you will feel angry, victimized and not much fun to be around. It's worth remembering that none of these shortcomings are personal, to you, rather they are systemic and affect everyone who uses the service

This was a very interesting vlog given the contents. I think the issue with Paris, or any other big city, is finding the balance between what works and what doesn't. I live in NYC (for many, many years and happily). Family and friends have said on occasion how they can't understand how I can live here with all its issues. But the reality is, so much does work for me. Anywhere you live will have problems big and small (and make no mistake, it's the small issues, and the accumulation of small issues, that can drive you batty far more than the big stuff), so it's a trade-off. And it's OK to be honest about what doesn't work in Paris. That's important because people are listening to you to get advice, to learn, and they need to hear what doesn't work as well as what does. So don't feel it's being negative to share what shows up (although we have our own delivery issues here, too long to explain, that drive me batty, they pale in comparison to Paris). I don't know if you have the option of paying to have packages delivered to either a post office box or a service that holds the packages for you. A lot of people here do this because people either don't really deliver or they leave and a package is stolen. FYI: I will tell you honestly, I am not a fan of Paris. But I'm not sure it's any worse than many other cities in Europe. (I'm an Italophile but OMG, Italy can be so challenging in terms of getting stuff done, etc.)

“attempt to deliver” happens often in USA too!🤦🏻‍♀️

It's unsurprising how some people act in competitions of any kind; I mean OMG. How old was this guy who you scored while he was defending. Is he an adult? Come on. He has bigger issues than your ability to shoot and score. FORGET IT! I love, love and love that you love to dance while saying that it's not necessarily something you are good at. But you enjoy it! YES YES YES. Do it. Forget about how well you do it. Dance to just enjoy. It's not a performance. I love your enthusiasm in general for everything (including your very very excellent series on weight loss where your most recent post showed that you, unlike others, have really understood the nature of being healthier and not just losing weight for appearances alone. Your discussion of how you have stopped craving sugar is a testament to how the healthy changes you made have proven very effective.) Few people are as honest as you have been in sharing this journey and I am sure you have inspired many people with your choices on the journey (although I am never going to love oats, no matter what you do to them! Ha ha). Don't let people get to you Arielle. There will always be those who are mean, nasty, and the like. It's about them, not you. Keep your open heart and spirit.

Anywhere outside of the the United States or Canada you will never get the level of customer service (especially outside of the United States), or customer respect. No one does customer service like North America, no one. If you are from North America, no matter how long you live somewhere else, you can never get over the lack of customer service/respect that you get here. There are many things that are great in Europe and other countries but North America is the absolute King of customer service so it will always be disappointing elsewhere because we are used to it, this is our reference and expectation. You are not wrong to expect or want the same, it just won't happen anywhere else as a "standard". I know, I have lived in many different countries.

I wonder if the contract would have limited what you were able to say or required you to do a video and not be honest. Saw a video where a guy on a bike actually kicked another biker as he passed him in Paris. You should try Le Jardin St. Germain. I've heard good things.
