As you first go in at the rutunda, in one of the glass cases is the urn of actress Kathleen Freeman she played the crazy nun in the Blues Brothers movie.

The Talmadge sisters, Norma, Natalie and Constance, were an acting dynasty from the silent era and one of them, Norma I think, was married to Buster Keaton

I notice most crypts on the second floor of that mausoleum don't have vases/flowers. Those lives seem to be forgotten now. Perhaps their family and friends have all passed on, too.

Oh, it’s so far down the family tree that a lot of people maybe don’t even realize there’s relatives nearby.

@@CryptDoor Or it could be a Jewish section ? They generally don't put flowers on graves, but a small stone.

8:28 Now that is interesting ? Urns section in the middle of isles, I never seen anything like that before ? Seems inconvenient if you do a full casket entombment ? Plus is kind of blocks those loved ones who are already there .

I thought that too but the spaces all look full so unless someone wants out it probably doesn't matter.

Thanks for another great video. That long hall of crypts looks like a bank vault, only it has something more precious then money.

This mausoleum is fascinating. I really love the old style name plates. I particularly liked the rose colored marble walls and crypt covers. One of your viewers made a remark about the section of niches in between two walls of casket crypts. I see what he means, those may be old crypts, but what if some unusual circumstance happened and it became necessary to open a crypt and remove a casket? How would the mausoleum crew manage that? Thank you very much Tony, for a awesome walking tour.
    Have a great day. 😊

There are too small sections for coffins... I think there are urns with ashes. And it’s not a problem to take them out if necessary.

Tony you should do a video of the cost breakdown of different mausoleums you go to ie. single double urn case urn burial would be interesting and than maybe see what other subscribers may see what they cost in their area

after seeing that stained glass roof place everything else falls away. not grammatically eloquent there, sorry its 5am and I'm a bit cloudy still lol. I came up with a better peeping device for you, better than a drain snake. a mechanical endoscope, or bore scope. they are very small and have good picture and illumination. they are used for inspecting combustion chambers and any other internal engine space that it can be put into. I'm more interested in seeing what shouldn't be seen because there are on occasion places just asking for it like the ones where a body in interred in a chair at a table or something, but above ground. btw speak up I cant hear you, and I'm afraid to turn the volume up too far in case of an ad coming on. blow me off my chair.
