    Somehow, I never accept buildings like this as "final resting places". They seem to be more like storage spots, and after everyone who may have remembered you also dies, your future is, at best, uncertain. These buildings will not stand forever. Someone in the future will decide there is no purpose in keeping them maintained. Better to be buried in a cemetery, which at least serves future generations as a park or outdoor space to enjoy.

    • @mr.slothington4517
      @mr.slothington4517 Před 8 měsíci +2

      Your totally right, they are only maintained while they are still making a profit. Then who knows what will happen.

      Masauleum interments are only increasing in popularity. They continue to be built. There are buildings still standing from Roman period. Always make sure you’re dealing with a cemetery that has large financial reputable backing. Nothing is guaranteed in the future. Even a burial can be disturbed.

      @@CryptDoor Yep. Ambient noises can definitely mess you up with what you are trying to do. Even echo inside a mausoleum messes thing up.
      So, on your next visit, if the other sounds do interfere, use you scanning app. It would be interesting visiting a celebrity's gave which attracts alot of attention and visitors, maybe the deceased celeb has something to say and wants to be heard.

    June Mathis, who "discovered" Valentino, "lent" him her crypt. So Valentino has been in a borrowed crypt all these years. And June is entombed right to him.
    Tom McLaughlin is still alive. Hes a writer and director most famous for "Friday The 13th Part VI: Jason Lives.
    I was an invited guest at the dedication for Toto's (Terry's) cenotaph monument. Its had roughly 5 diffetent locations since its dedication due to construction. But its roughly in the same area, give or take 20 feet, of its originsl placement.
    Both Helen Chandler and Edmun Gwenn were originally placed in vaultage at Chappel Of The Pines, in Los Angeles. And now they are niche mates for eternity.
    Down below David White is the wife of Ed Wood, Jr., Katherine Wood. She was portryed by Patricia Arquette in the movie, "Ed Wood," staring Johnny Depp.
    Too bad you couldnt head down the opposite corridore to see Peter Lorre.
