    This! Helped so much. It did hurt for my thumbs and pinkies but I’m acrylic free 😂. It took me about 10-15 mins at the most and that’s a stretch.

      @@jadep7370 each hand was like 20-30 mins i took my time with it i didn’t want to rip them off my nails i tried to be as gentle as possible lol

      I bite my normal nails because I dont like nail clippers and then I peel em to keep them at a controllable size like same length as my fingers each its so satisfying I remember dropping one in my drink and drinking it with ice and saying this a lil crunchy and spit it out and I gagged I might just use nail clippers.

    It worked!! I had custom press on nails and the glue was hella strong. Warm water, dish soap, hand soap, cooking oil, and few drops of acetone! Took me almost an hour but I slowly eased it out the edge where it didn’t have that much glue (near cuticle bed) with a wooden cuticle pusher!! Your tutorial is a life saver ❤️ Thank you!!

      @@gbecks3672 Its just a generic nail glue that came in a small pink and white vial. It came with my custom nail set so idk where they got it. Sorry!!

    Use lemon essential oil. Put a drop under where it has lifted. They will pop off

    My cousin just did this method and was raving as she was shocked how well it worked. She removed nailed applied with base gel. I'm looking for a way to remove nails where I can save them for future use or for my catalog, I like to look back on my designs.

      Heard oil your nails. Use base coat. (Dab oil off of brush onto lint free wipe before re-inserting into bottle so oil doesn’t get into the bottle)

    For those with sensitive skin...using your body wash as a substitute for the dawn dish soap works just as well with a little bit of nail polish remover.

    I had to try this method and it definitely works! I do just want to say that I had a really bad install and it took be about 45 minutes to remove mine and I had them for a little over 2 weeks (usually would take about 2-3 hours with just an acetone soak). Pain was about a 2 out 10 but again I had a pretty bad install. Thanks for the video!!

    I like to use grapeseed oil or coconut oil to moisturize my hands while using use method to remove my polygel as well!

    OMG thank u sooooooo much. What I did was I just soaked my hands in hot water and it didn’t work and this works perfectly with no damage thanks soooo much, now I know how to take my fake nails off.

    OMG!! This actually works, I had poly gel nails, and I soaked them for 10 minutes and they came off. Just make sure you put lotion after because is going to dry your hands

    Tried this and at first it wasn't working. But I'm determined to get these nails off so I did it again but used much more oil and dawn. I also used vegetable oil this time instead of canola oil. They are actually lifting this time. Also it seems this will be about an hour and a half per hand (since I soaked one at a time)
